The great Doctor Coco from www.cocoforcannabis.com is back on the show for an episode about optimal consistent environments, and maximizing your grow space production. Coco starts by diving deeper into some concepts that have been brought up on the show before- specifically the idea of increasing your productivity per square foot by adding more plants and vegging them for less time. While this isn’t an optimal method for those in low plant count situations, the idea of only vegging for a short period of time not only increases overall production- but also reduces manual labor and labor costs… Doctor Coco also discusses the importance of consistency, calling back to an episode where he had discussed leaving your plants alone as much as possible. This leads to an interesting conversation about how it’s even more important to leave your plant alone the later in life it advances. The conversation turns towards harvest, and Coco has an interesting take to share when it comes to the differences in home grown harvests depending on the season in which you’re cutting down…

Hey brother wanted to know if the timeline you and coco talk about are for clones? I grow from seed and a 2 week veg from when it sprouts is criminal. š š š Idk, growing more smaller plants to give me the same weight 1 plant can give me just to save time idk didn’t seem efficient
I have seen growers that use different size turntables contraire. to most ideas here and they end up with huge healthy loaded terps and thc I like that approach much more.Get to know your plants expressions and genetics.
Hey I’ve been trying to get ahold of anyone who will listen. I make living soils and right now I have the world record for largest indoor autoflower. It’s nine and a half feet tall by 8 ft around. I have another one right next to it that’s going to beat the yield record and if my projections are right I should get over three pounds off of it. The best part about all this is I only used water. I’m reaching out to you guys because you’re the only organic guys I really listen to. I just want the notoriety for what I’ve done. This new soil I’ve created could revolutionize the industry. You can use my soil and only water and you will have way better results than you’d ever have with chemicals. Hopefully you can help me out here, or at least point me in the right direction of somebody who can. I’ve been working on this soil for years and it’s finally all come together. Thanks for reading hopefully I hear from you soon. I did this using a $150 lightš . Oh I’m in Illinois by the way, and I’m willing to do any testing measurements or anyting you need to prove my soil works.
Another amazing update jordan. Just got my ac infinity fan in the mail cant wait to go home and open her up
I disagree about not stressing plants to improve cannibinoid and terpene production. Yieldwise hes right, but straight up, terpenes and cannibinoid production in the plant is literally a stress response. If you are selling the bud, stressfree through bulk is money, but if you are trying to produce the best in the world, you HAVE to understand stress responses and control them for a tradesoff of weight for quality. I know yall have seen Beleaf’s budporn…hes a shwazz’r. I bet everything this guys buds look bigger an lusher and nowhere near as GOOD.
M
Forgot to add they were 4 ish inches tall when flipped and finished under 12 inches(wish I could get that plant back for breeding).
Awesome content as usual Jordan!! š¤š¼š„
"…so you don’t want to spin the pot to sun the other side?" hahaha..dude, your lines are funny.sarcasm is fyya
Love the show. Keep up the great work.
I’ve been saying plant counts are both stupid and irresponsible and show the ignorance of whoever wrote the rules. I never followed foolish rules before and I don’t follow them now. Plant counts are created with outdoor grows in mind and are primed to exploit, as long as you don’t mind wasting valuable resources, time and money to do so. Look up Heath Robinson latest tree grow, multiple bare, vertical HPS plants in the tic-tac-toe style, a 76oz monster indoor plant. I’ve stood in front of a judge enough times that if I were to be fall victim to excessive plant issues, I’d fight it. I don’t like to give any wanna be oppressors ideas, but plant counts may be the dumbest method of limiting our tomato freedom ever. If I put 200 plants in a 5×5 I will never get 200lbs of product as they always loved to claim when they caught someone with 6 half dead plants and a light and fan "it was a highly sophisticated grow operation with lights, fans and timers" worth an estimated street value of $24,000 even if 4 of them were males and the other 2 ruderallis. Hell, look at the rules even a few years into it you can tell these dimwits didn’t realize at the end of the day, they were dealing with a plant, a plant whose overinflated value stemmed from the very fact that it was illegal. Yet every grow is supposed to be built like Fort Knox, while top shelf outdoor doesn’t even fetch the cost of production. How you going to balance the budget with taxes and fees on a shrubbery? Around 1900, before it was restricted in any way, the wholesale price of cocaine was $0.25 per gram and inflation isn’t enough to account for that increase. Why do weed and concentrates need to be in child-proof packaging when you need to smoke or otherwise heat it to be psychoactive? Alcohol and tobacco aren’t treated that way. Colorado has passed standards so restrictive that almost no product can pass testing, but rats can shit in your food
Also, have you ever tried to flower a 2 week old seedling? They don’t flower at that age, it takes 4-6 weeks before a seedling to reach sexual maturity and be able to produce flowers, 12/12 from seed was popular in Europe for a long time b4 legalization or whatever this is. Not even an auto will flower at 2 weeks

I’m gonna have to give this 1 a Solid A+!!!
20 years ago I didnāt care about plant count and was growing ebb and flow with 3 inch rock wool.
Four per square foot over a 4×6 table with two air cooled 600s. I used āvintageā hashplant seed from sensi. 5 days veg and 45 of flower to get three pounds. Now I use big pots with big plants, itās not as quick or high yielding. Also I donāt have any strains that are ready in less then 9 weeks, most go 12+
It’s just funny to me. Weed is like criminal court cases everybody you ask about it is going to tell you a different story the industry is so flooded with different types of knowledge that one can get very confused and be all over the place
In BC we did 3 gallons 1 plant per sq ft 1.5lbs on a single ended hps if you did good and if you had major problems around 1lbs per light. 7-14 day veg time. In small pots like 4 inch, repot right at flip

Is it worth sacrificing light intensity to maintain a lower temp in final stages of flow ? Some say the more intensity the better but drives up the heat
