A drug operation was snuffed out Wednesday, after detectives from the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office served search warrants in the East Bay and found one of the largest illegal marijuana growing operations in California. Melissa Colorado reports.

I’m sorry but I hardly see ANY environmental impact compared to illegal outdoor grow operations. Did they bulldoze land and destroy natural habitat? Are they stealing water and power? Are they using illegal rodenticides and pesticides that seep into ground water? Are those said poisons killing wildlife and pets? Are neighbors being harrased and threatened with violence? Are acres upon acres of trash left behind in outdoor areas? These are a waste of time compared to stopping outdoor grows.
