Hello sir. So I had a pre employment drug screening. It’s probably been about 40ish days since the last time I used. But definitely more than 30. I’m 5’9 180. I’ve taken multiple home drug test. All with a negative result. I even went to an urgent care which also resulted in a negative result. The office were I had my pre employment test taken, sends out their samples to a lab for testing. I did one of no’s I guess. and drink water before my pre employment test. My urine was more misty with a bit of yellow. But water is all I really drink though. juice and soda I stay away from because of the sugar. And I’m prone to diabetes. I guess my question is, do you think my sample will yield a positive result? Since it was sent to a lab? Are their tests different?

Best to leave the trucking industry the fact that federal have cannabis as scheduled 1 drug as the worst drug in the world is criminal and unfair and just not true.
20 years from now us dot and the trucking industry and feds will be on the wrong side of history when it comes to cannabis as medicine. It’s overdue to change and get away from urine it’s outdated.
No driver should use drugs while on duty but drivers should be able to use cannabis on their free time off duty the same way a person chooses to have a beer or glass of wine without getting fired or removed from work.
At this point it’s not even about safety it’s something else on why the war of drugs and cannabis continues. Alcohol is far worst but how it’s accepted in society doesn’t make sense. When I watch these videos it’s triggering.

How long should I expect to be positive on the hair follicle test? I want to get into trucking and don’t want any test failures at all.
Thank you for posting this. I live in a legal recreational state, but a lot of companies will still fire you for testing positive (injury, accident, etc), so I had to stop. It really sucks because marijuana helps keep me present when I’m having an anxious, stressful day.
Former heavy smoker for almost 10 years, 6’3 280 pounds, drunk almost a gallon of water a day with shots of apple cider vinegar 3 times a day(morning, noon and night) changed my diet to fruits and salads and also ate before 6pm. Did a 30 minute walk twice a day. Took a drug test from Amazon and tested negative!!! Hope this helps for the big fellas! Was a urine test.
