Sacramento approves permit for cannabis event, show

The Sacramento City Council approved Tuesday night for a cannabis event and trade show to go on as scheduled. Council members voted 6-2 for attendees of the High Times Cannabis Cup to buy and consume pot during the event. The trade show will be held Friday and Saturday at Cal Expo.
