Hey john, I just bought some CBD sugar wax with like 2.5% THC and 80% of CBD am I still required to decarb. I’ve done the hot oil stove top method and have yet to see any bubbles at 250 F. Please help!

I’m using an oven to decarb around 25 minute mark for BHO badder. I was just curious because I forgot to buy heat resistant gloves…after the glass vials cool can I then add my terpines and then microwave for < 10 seconds? Just because It’s really difficult to stir a glass vial that is scorching hot, in other terms, the liquid cools off and the microwave re-introduces the heat so that the terpines c an mix in correctly. Thanks for all this information I am excited and making some carts for fun

Put your cart between the metal plates of a hair straightener. Not over 310-320 degrees. If it only works on a really high temp it’ll still work. Clamp the cart for 30 seconds at a time and when the walls are really warm to hot, it’s ready to set aside.
Also do the same to the applicator/syringe and then aim at the bottom and inject.
The heat helps the distillate settle to the bottom and flow into the cart better.

I’ve watched a lot of these vids and have done this myself but carts have gotten so cheap here in Michigan that there isnt much reason to do it yourself now You can get 1g carts for $12-$14 maybe even cheaper if you hit a good sale

I thought 250° was wayyyy too hot? You’re degrading THC and terps at those temps. I have always seen you never go above temps of 150° and you can still decarb.

I’ve tried this a few times including from pressing the flower in a heat press. It seems no matter how much term I add (to the point the terms are overwhelming) they always come out too viscus to wick correctly. Any tips?
Also do you really need to decarb? Wouldn’t the heat of the coil do that as it vaporizes the oil?

I just started making carts. I am using rosin from my new Dulytek press. I have all ceramic and all glass with ceramic ovens. I am only adding terpenes. They are still a bit thick. I don’t want to cause terpene burn or terpenes tingle. And advise on further thinning? I am looking into MCT oil to help the viscosity. Is this safe in your opinion?
