Synthetic VS Organic Nutrients For Cannabis Plants

Synthetic VS Organic Nutrients For Cannabis Plants

Hey!

Here is a longer one!

Sorry for the crooked whiteboard and not the best writing! After we were done filming, we realized we should have had Jilly Bean write it up, but the video was so good (to us!) that we just went with it.

So blow it up big to read it well!

Here we discuss what is meant by synthetic and organic when it comes to cannabis nutrients.

We discuss the pros and cons of both.

Enjoy and let us know what you think!

Happy Harvest!

Somebody tell me if I’m wrong or right so the compost tea can help feed the plants more quicker???

Many cannabis seed banks have their own terpene profiles posted on their website. There really is a difference in terpenes between growing hydro vs organic. Check out the charts on seedbank "greenhouse seeds" and pay attention to the strains that where grown both organic and hydrophonic, there are clear differences in the terpene profiles. https://shop.greenhouseseeds.nl/strains-terpenes-profiles.html

Indoors with less space is much easier to maintain a synthetic feeding then keeping a good quality soil.

I’m sorry this isn’t irrelevant but that freaking bug zippin in and out frame…. needs to be squished.

Just use Nectar of the Gods combined with SLF 100 and call it good. It’s an organic line you can use like synthetics. No brews and teas. The work is already done for you.

I use synthetic base nutrients, would you recommend flushing say mid veg as well as the last couple weeks of flower, to be safe(r)? Or more frequent then that?

  25. Alaa Alssadi on May 20, 2022 at 2:13 am

Thanks for the clear explanation! Wonderful job, I have a question, I make my own liquid compost from vegetative sources only, home veg and fruit, coffee, tea egg shells and so, do you recommend it , its looks really intresting for me beside the fact I cant tell what is in it.

  29. An Old Man Named dave on May 20, 2022 at 2:17 am

Couldn’t you just add ‘powdered’ bone meal into the soil mix? If so, how much would you add to 25 gallon tubs. Also, what about adding to process of composting. I compost with alfalfa hay, ,, cattle manure,, all my old potted soils from pots, and add fresh organic potting soil. What else could I add, besides worms.? I really like your ‘schooling’.. 😊❤️✌️

  37. stump383 on May 20, 2022 at 2:24 am

I’m totally for building the soil you have, synthetic is fun to play with indoors but…., technically anything derived for a carbon based substance is “organic”. We need to use a new term for it. Like??? Natures way or something along those lines. Because most everything on earth is carbon based. This “organic”

  38. Cody Bear on May 20, 2022 at 2:26 am

LOL I Just discovered your weed school buddy! Amazing work here, so much great information! This is next level gardening, feeling lots of gratitude to find you doing a weed school on line! Much Love to all! <3

  41. T J on May 20, 2022 at 2:33 am

Use synthetic if you’re growing in a bucket or smart pot outdoor or indoor Hydroponics. You use organics when you’re growing in the ground so that you can benefit the Earth, but if your plants are not in the Earth you don’t have to worry about that.

  42. Adrian Garcia on May 20, 2022 at 2:33 am

I prefer to use both organic soil and synthetics. Most of what I do is organic but I use synthetics for growth until they’re the size I need
