The New Green Jobs: Fostering Employment in the Cannabis Industry

The establishment of a legal sales and tax regime for adult use marijuana via the Safe Cannabis Sales Act could unlock thousands of new jobs for District residents. Employment opportunities will be found within traditional plant-touching jobs such as cultivators, manufacturers, and retailers.
