This is a great video, but I will say you are pronouncing a lot of things incorrectly.
Media is what you were saying, I believe you were talking about medium.
Coco coir is said like this : (coh-coh-coor)
    Thanks for the information!

This is a very well done video. I love that you’re not in a hurry and that you take the time to explain in detail. I am growing in coco for the first time, and it ain’t no childs play (at least not for newbies) – so I am super grateful for this valuable gift you shared!

  4. pistol850 on May 22, 2022 at 12:10 am

I love how you test your own PPM and don’t believe what the company says the recommended amount of nutrient is… I followed the wrong directions from general hydroponics two different times and messed up almost killed my plants both times…

now I’m just testing my own ppm also….I don’t believe what any stupid nutrient people say the amount should be anymore..
    thanks for the knowledge

damn this hydro is so frustrating… everything could be almost dead in 3 days..

I really don’t see how people make it work all the time..
grrrrrrr.. it’s a good thing I don’t live next door to the general hydroponics stupid jerks on these videos

Coco has a LOT of salts

  6. Crypto HODL on May 22, 2022 at 12:12 am

Coco looks way harder than straight hydro. Was going to try coco for some peppers, but this looks complicated

  7. Lisa Pham on May 22, 2022 at 12:14 am

Is those raw dried supplements and nutrients mix cheaper then buying bottle nutrients?

Best tutorial I have seen for coco & I have seen a few 👍🏾

  9. Black Ink on May 22, 2022 at 12:20 am

I just saw a guys throwing everything that he cud find of the same brand in his garrage into the mix with a lil cali grow twist with the bubbles…. nothing actually special or really calculated in the slightest here although informative. Aint knockin it cause we’ve all been there, being past that tho…. 💁🏾‍♂️ This is for the Noobs

Use humic and calcium phosphate along with aloe and lots of liquid rhizo. The humic buffers salt toxicity, calcium neutralizes the acidity, the rhizo protects the roots. ph to 6.4. for foliar at 6.2 without the calcium and add silica. Foliar feed helps from stress while correcting. Always ph to 6.4 in coco and use CALCIUM PHOSPHATE to bring in nutes, NoT n,p,or k.

Cal mag deficiency mate always use cal mag supplement in coco

My raw yucca extract came like peanut brittle, so I ground it in my coffee grinde and put it in a mason jar with a fresh silica gel pack

  18. SOJUSLIM TDFLOCK on May 22, 2022 at 12:34 am

People this guy needs a water filter, just letting your water sit for 24 to 48 hours is only getting rid of chlorine not chloramine…
And the chloramine is what will kill your plants and give you deficiencies…
Always start with clean water, and letting your water sit out is not making it clean…
People always try to go the cheap route…
You’re only as good as your tools…

  19. stadiondude on May 22, 2022 at 12:35 am

With all due respect. Why do you make an informative video if you can’t even grow a few plants in pots? Things go sour so early in the process. You measure PH and it’s “correct” (High side of coco range) , from that you could have even known enough, HIGH EC is often lower PH than what you water with. So the PH would have been lower and not 6.2x The rest if the vid is even worse.. I appreciate the guys that really have knowledge. You’re just regurgitating what you heard others say and you have no idea why you’re doing it. Even if my example is flawed, the leafs would have told u more. You probably cheapass reused your coco without buffering calmag. just rinsed the coco with plain PH’d water. I’m even doubtful you PH’d the last flush.
I don’t mind journey vids and learning along with you but you’re posting this as a how-to with a lot of missing info.
Drop 80% of your additives please! C’mon dude..

Keep at it and keep learning, it’s all good.

  20. neyzor dabaws on May 22, 2022 at 12:36 am

should start with silica leave for an hour then calmag before adding base . also if u are dilueting ur feed u should dose calmag in the water u dilute with.

  21. P on May 22, 2022 at 12:36 am

Been having similar issues with my plants at the min thanks for this video I already flushed at 5.5 before this video and gave them a light feed only thing I never done was test my run off. In the past I’ve always let my coco get pretty dry as I find if you saturate the coco the roots don’t reach out properly. I’m hoping I’ve over fed and not under fed as before the EC of my feed was 1.5 so I lowered it to 0.7. At first I thought it was a nitrogen deficiency but now I know it wasn’t thanks again man.

  22. Jonathan Ellmann on May 22, 2022 at 12:37 am

Finally ive found someone that uses NPK RAW nutrients line, I have a few questions regarding this. First do you use the 2 part grow and 2 part flower or do you use the all in one grow and allin in one flower and obviously the extra nutrients like kelp, yucca, fill up, kelp ect ect. Second how do you like them ? i am waiting on the delivery of all of the nutirents recomended however i am using the all in one grow and all in one flower along with the like 8 other nutrients. just all around whats your thoughts on the product?

  23. Allan Medina on May 22, 2022 at 12:37 am

I used phos.varden from green thumb.

Pt.2….I seen a woman who doesnt know how to grow bring her plant 3 months old was extremely healthy and roots everywhere but u guys plants look like their dying, how is that? That’s because woman arent obsessed with all this bs nutrients like Men which is why their plants look better than Mens plants. Woman do very little and Men do very much. If u seriously want to see some good looking healthy plants go check out Womans growers on youtube, very little is always better. Woman rarely over nuke if any they under nuke.

  26. Janiegh Slocumb on May 22, 2022 at 12:40 am

I just watered mine and I think I need to flush it due to nutrient toxicity but my soil is still wet, when do I flush?

  27. Ben Tree specialist on May 22, 2022 at 12:42 am

Best fuckin video on underfed plants. Im currently having a problem same as yours, mine were going hard a great and then its like they just lost the energy to grow. I thought I had over watered, but its in coco coir and really you have to no drainage for that to happen and I have plenty of that. So I did a run off test of ppm, after the initial test(which was 300-350) it very quickly turned to 150! It turns out underfed looks just like over watered.

  28. Gussy Zeinert on May 22, 2022 at 12:42 am

Kept it simple and got straight to the point g bloody legend 💪🏽🔥

  29. 818 grow on May 22, 2022 at 12:43 am

Im still learning this grow stuff.. Can someone tell me why when i tested the runoff my ppm read 1800×10 ??

  30. Juan Ojeda on May 22, 2022 at 12:44 am

How does 350 Run off with 200 in make it 600 in medium??? More like 150 because the run off is total salts concentrate plus what u add in .. the other one was 300 and u jumped to its deficient kinda confusing .

  31. john fasano II on May 22, 2022 at 12:45 am

  33. DJ Techno BooM on May 22, 2022 at 12:45 am

ph for hydro is 5.5 – 6.0, you should just use soil

  34. Steve T on May 22, 2022 at 12:46 am

Your soil pH meter isn’t calibrated. There is no check mark

  35. Beau Bridgeman on May 22, 2022 at 12:47 am

  36. Chris Bethmann on May 22, 2022 at 12:48 am

Dude I think silica always first

  37. DOCUDRAMA on May 22, 2022 at 12:50 am

Pt.1….Killing your plants as usual. When will yahl novice youtube growers learn to stop killing your plants with either to much light, overwatering or to many nutrients and in your case like always, to many nutrients. Yahl think u can make a plant better or grow faster by dosing with alot of nutrients but u stunted its growth and roots and killing it. I see this over and over and over and over and u would think yahl would learn , nope yahl do it again and again. All that crap u got makes you want to use it.

  38. Aussie Grows on May 22, 2022 at 12:51 am

Nice troubleshooting video mate. You do use a lot of stuff. I use canna coco throughout with nothing else and have great results.
