    Why the root rot? With the air pump shut off doesn’t the DWC system revert to a Kratky system assuming the roots were touching the water level?

    I’ve been growing in dwc for five years, and it’s easier than soil. Less mess with soil and no bugs, since they mostly have their life cycle in the soil. Just simple airstones, temp monitors, and no drip system, that just complicates things. Don’t need a drip system for growing hydro. It’s weird you got bugs, I never had any since my hydro grows are isolated from any other houseplants or external soil sources. Between grows, I disinfect the entire grow area with lysol to kill anything.

    We learning I did the same thing with a fan ugh. I want to try hydroponics looks like a hole other level of growing the growth is so fast

    Wow, that one bounced back pretty nicely! I still have yet to try DWC. But I want to try DWC and organics at some point. Just been growing in coco coir with hydroponic nutes. Great results, typically, i just want to try out all styles and hopefully master them. Great content, dude!

    I’ve heard GH hydro ph downup is contaminated with heavy metals. I wouldn’t use it myself
