I’m growing in coco, am I suppose to let it get dry after I water it before watering again? (My plants are now growing thee second fan leaves) when I water it stays moist and not getting dry ( I have perlite in it as well). And also, am I suppose to feed it nutes every time or everyday other feeding as I so in soil ( In soil I feed today then next 2 or 3 days I water and repeat) ??

  23. John doe on May 23, 2022 at 2:17 am

  26. B D on May 23, 2022 at 2:21 am

No talking about the cation exchange, the salt buildup, the ph swing from letting it over dry out?? I mean you really touched on nothing important. You barely touched on the fact that coco in itself is inert.

  27. CmmnSenseRules on May 23, 2022 at 2:23 am

The big fella is too slow to listen too. Lay off the kush while talking. Soooo boring. You, little fella, you’re goid

Exactly what u guys said it’s a learning experience… I had no idea about coco coir, hydro anything like that. I’m really leaning towards switching from happy frog soil to some sort of coco, anyone have any suggestions? I’m fairly amateur but have quite the knowledge now I’ve got some growing u see my belt! Any advice is needed!

  29. REVAMPED WRESTLING TV on May 23, 2022 at 2:25 am

Is it okay to mix coco with soil and blend it with guano and perlite?

  31. Ego Death Club on May 23, 2022 at 2:26 am

About to start my first real grow with coco and good lights. Done bunk seeds i have found and been gardening in general for years. Look forward to growing my gelato seeds in it.

  32. Eve Destruction Broadcasting on May 23, 2022 at 2:27 am

People complain that coco coir uses too much water in processing and that’s their main argument for using peat and destroying ecosystems. BUT, for 6 plants in 5gal containers, the coir you’ll use only needs like 150-200L of water in processing. People who complain about this will turn around and eat an 8oz steak, which required over 3,000L to grow. Far as I can see, my plants are more than 10x sustainable than the entree in ONE of their meals. One of many reasons I stopped eating animal products. Too unsustainable.

  33. Dominick Love on May 23, 2022 at 2:29 am

How would you all water/feed/maintain a mixture of coco and soil? About 50/50. Plagron Coco coir and mother earth groundswell. Would you treat it more like soil, or more like hydro?

  34. J B on May 23, 2022 at 2:32 am

What should I ph the water at when using mother earth coco coir plus perlite

  35. Trichomes Heel Grows on May 23, 2022 at 2:33 am

First time using Coco and right now I have noticed that when I water its not fully penetrating the soil. So now I have a seedling that looks as if its shriveling up due to not getting any water. Took me 20 mins to water this seedling today, trying to get the water to penetrate through. Felt like I over watered but once you dig in the soil, again the bottom half is NOT wet at all.

  36. 2TallEskï on May 23, 2022 at 2:33 am
