Growing plants in aerated water
The roots grow into the nutrient solution that is splashed or bubbled to continually on to the growing roots
Plants can be grown in clay pellets or rock wool held in a pot that is put into a larger container.

Few moving parts
If the air pump fails so does the crop
Growers aim for a pH around 6.0-6.5 in this set-up
