What If You Could Freeze a Hurricane?

What If You Could Freeze a Hurricane?

Has the weather ever ruined your plans? What if I told you I had an idea to stop hurricanes from wrecking your day? And that it involves liquid nitrogen. How exactly would liquid nitrogen stop a hurricane? How much of this icy cold substance would we need? And how would we pull this off?

  7. Ayumayuu on August 30, 2023 at 7:15 pm

We should have more satellites where the oceans are wich can spot them at their beginning and calculate the damage and if its above the cost and in reach just stop it there

  21. Mama Gigi on August 30, 2023 at 7:39 pm

You are wrong. You can not freeze an hurricane, it is a Natural Disaster and it’s your biggest bet to freeze it but no. It is not possible to freeze a hurricane. The problem is, hurricanes are large, and this is a video to trick people. Even my friends do not believe that hurricanes can be frozen. So me and my friend don’t believe this video. I just like learning other videos. So yeah, this video is a trick.

  22. Walter Robinson on August 30, 2023 at 7:41 pm

I enjoyed the channel, but as an American who does use the metric system sometimes don’t understand the dynamic of the numbers being used

  23. Gene Redinger on August 30, 2023 at 7:41 pm

A nuclear powered submarine… the thing that’s already a boat but airtight

  24. Jacob 1st on August 30, 2023 at 7:41 pm

Basically, when you freeze a hurricane, it becomes a blizzard.

  25. Mark Recore on August 30, 2023 at 7:44 pm

Sorry. Kilos while I’m drunk is just.. sorry. Going to look for Something space

  27. appuzz music on August 30, 2023 at 7:45 pm

    Atlantic has no hurricane 😜😜😂

  28. Maudje on August 30, 2023 at 7:45 pm

You would be able to go into the eye of a hurricane. Legend says it’s quiet for just a moment.

  29. camman_sans drip on August 30, 2023 at 7:46 pm

You’ll just freeze the earth first

  30. Partygoer on August 30, 2023 at 7:47 pm

What about getting a machine powerful enough to suck up a hurricane and convert it into energy

  31. Toxic on August 30, 2023 at 7:47 pm

1:25 That would make the hurricane stronger)

  32. Vasily zaitsev on August 30, 2023 at 7:48 pm

how if we place a nitrogen at one place and let the hurricane hit that area 🤔🤔🤔

  33. The 3 Whiskerteirs on August 30, 2023 at 7:49 pm

Natural disasters like tornados help you they help in health of nature they fertilise soil if you didn’t know that

  34. siddharthplayz on August 30, 2023 at 7:50 pm

if you freeze the Hurricane it will fall to earth

  35. Brett James on August 30, 2023 at 7:51 pm

I want to freeze a tornado!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  36. Soham Naiknaware on August 30, 2023 at 7:52 pm

What if Newton wasn’t born 😂

The world wants to know …. 😁

  37. Natures Final on August 30, 2023 at 7:53 pm

if Tornado then id recommend calling FreezeNado

  38. April Brooks on August 30, 2023 at 7:53 pm

well actually freezing a Hurricane would cause the Hurricane become much more stronger since Hurricanes develops from thunderstorms and thunderstorms rely on warm moist air at the surface and cold air aloft to develop/form which means freezing a Hurricane would be a bad idea bcuz not only you have to deal with the flooding tropical downpours and the insane wind speeds but you also have to deal with large destructive hail & excessive/extreme frequent dangerous to deadly cloud to ground lightning and large monster destructive tornadoes especially in the right front quadrant and the eye wall of the storm freezing a Hurricane from above would be like steroids to a Hurricane
especially if sea surface temperatures and high upper ocean heat content is waay waay above average along with air temperatures in the mid 80s to the mid 90s & the dew point levels/temperatures in the mid to upper 70s to low 80s with no dry air & no SAL and no wind shear at all in the whole entire path of the storm?
you would have to freeze the fuel source to Hurricanes which it’s water to kill the Hurricane but it would have to take a whole lot of freezing to do so

  39. Linda N on August 30, 2023 at 7:53 pm

Great video, but most of the storms in the video are tornadoes, not hurricanes.

  40. Juan Bolanos on August 30, 2023 at 7:57 pm

Or we could melt big chunks of ice into the ocean. The problem will be where do we get the ice from and how do we melt it.

  41. DeAndre on August 30, 2023 at 7:58 pm

This program should come up with a video on "What If a hurricane could produce snow instead of rain". Or "What If a polar low could last long inland as a hurricane"

  42. Billy Millar on August 30, 2023 at 7:59 pm

    00:19

  43. Bennie Vaughn on August 30, 2023 at 7:59 pm

How using a satellite with cold lasers technology imposed over the hurricane or any tropical system instead? That if we have such technology like that.

  44. That guy on August 30, 2023 at 8:00 pm

Impossible if the hurricane was frozen but water can exist by frozen

  45. Ryan Utter on August 30, 2023 at 8:00 pm

This is literally one of the dumbest ideas I’ve ever heard also one of the dumbest videos.

  46. Aleksandra Briers on August 30, 2023 at 8:01 pm

    CAN WE APPRECIATE CHRIS EVANS

  47. Imelda Pedro on August 30, 2023 at 8:01 pm

    How about the airplane 4:45

  48. Nagen Rai on August 30, 2023 at 8:02 pm

I think it cause snow storm.

  49. VestedUTuber on August 30, 2023 at 8:03 pm

Cooling a hurricane wouldn’t necessarily depower it in every situation. The problem is that a hurricane is a heat engine, powered an updraft of hot air displacing cold air – it’s actually the exact same processes behind mesocyclones in supercell thunderstorms but on a much larger scale. If you dump enough liquid nitrogen over the top of a hurricane, you’d be cooling the air on top which would actually result in the storm intensifying. You need to cool the air underneath the storm without also cooling the air on top to actual have the desired effect. And if you cool the air on top and underneath at the same time, you could end up with a hybrid of a hurricane and a cold-core cyclone like a Nor’easter, much like what Sandy became in 2012 before slamming into the North Atlantic coastline.
