Genetic Drift.

Genetic Drift.

You could plant ten seeds of any cultivar and while they’ll mostly be the same, you might get one that’s taller, one with a fruitier smell, one with more sativa or indica in the high. It’s called genetic diversity and it’s the cornerstone of evolution. With seeds, there’s no fear of the genetic degeneration sometimes associated with over cloning. Genetic drift is wrongly associated as the cause.

The degeneration is really caused by environmental factors from plant diseases that can be introduced through the cutting scissors to repeated heat and cold stress factors scientifically known as epigenetic change leading to phenotypic plasticity. You always get some level of diversity with seeds. Diversity is a gift. Not everyone shares the same palate or endocannabinoid system.

Nice wording bud, you’ve stemmed out all the nonsense and planted a seed in everyone’s minds to think about without clouding up to much of people’s time. Not to be blunt, but this was a dope topic.
