  3. Not Sure on October 4, 2023 at 10:10 pm

Whether or not weed is good or bad is irrelevant It’s a personal choice and the government has no right to say what someone does with their body or what they put in it…period

I wonder if he’s on board for the "right to bear arms"

  5. David Digital on October 4, 2023 at 10:14 pm

I smoked for thirty years but stopped because of trying to acquire it illegally and our medical system will still red flag you as deranged addicted psychopath. It will hurt you if your in the job market. I will probably be dead before people can smoke freely without consequences.

  8. Dave Peters on October 4, 2023 at 10:17 pm

Article 4 Section 2 Clause 1. Why hasn’t this been used in court???

  9. Banana on October 4, 2023 at 10:18 pm

I bet any politician that is against the legalization of Marijuana has never smoked it before. The only danger that you face with it is when you’re literally driving while smoking, which everyone knows is extremely stupid. Weed isnt dangerous, the people smoking it happen to be idiots that give it a bad rep

  10. H Phillips on October 4, 2023 at 10:18 pm

It should have been legal 30 years ago.

  11. Nathan Ratermann on October 4, 2023 at 10:19 pm

Just don’t want the stereotype that follows, a bunch of dead heads, or gangs.

If you don’t fix the Border problem first I just proved that the government are in cahoots with the cartels

If I were a cop I would not arrest anyone with pot. It is not the moral thing to do.

  17. Mercedes Beard on October 4, 2023 at 10:26 pm

I mean, legal or not, I’m still going to smoke it. But if this ass backwards, ignorant state doesn’t want my tax dollars, then that’s completely on them because at the end of the day, you really can not fix stupidity.🤷‍♀️🙄

  18. nightlightabcd on October 4, 2023 at 10:29 pm

I have been hearing this for fifty years now! It is unlikely that it will be legalized as long as Republicans can use it illegality for political power! Pit illegal, assault weapons with high capacity =ammo clips, legal! Staging a coup to over throw the US government, that’s okay if you’re a Republican!! Republicans are not going to allow it unless their clients and investors can control it for maximum profits!
Even then, the anti-government, anti-democracy, anti-tax and anti-regulation Republicans will use their position the governments to regulate and tax the hell out of it and no one will be allowed to have any unless they get authorized weed and the drug enforcement will be busier then ever and the Republicans negotiating demands will be for more tax cuts and more guns and assault weapons as they work to bring down the mentality and morality of the nation down to their level for political, power as they destroy the US from within for political power and if their election rigging is not enough, they are prepared to take over the country by force of arms!
Wake up people, the real threat to the US is not China, or Russia but the Republican Party and Trump that is in league with Putin!

Rep. Todd, You can’t make RSO from hemp. I am a Tennessean in exile with my mom, who uses 1:1RSO to treat cancer with success. I’d love for her to move home without fear. You talk like someone who’s never had to care for and witness what cancer does to a person. Your synthesized, commercial, recreational hemp product is not medicine.

  20. Carlos Martinez on October 4, 2023 at 10:32 pm

    Chris Todd is gay

  21. SouthEast Empire 43 on October 4, 2023 at 10:33 pm

This is why they call the South Slow 😂 y’all late. “Really late to the party.” All these other states making huge profits and taxes so their state or city grows faster. This creates jobs and makes money that can be used for building the city and state

  22. covenant11 on October 4, 2023 at 10:33 pm

    It’s about damn time.

  23. Violet O’Capybara on October 4, 2023 at 10:34 pm

    Legalize it!
Why block everything positive and forward -thinking!
Because most politicians in TN are ignorant and run by Christian Nationalist Fas cists.

  24. windysolutions on October 4, 2023 at 10:38 pm

    They won’t

  25. Positively Powerful Possibilities on October 4, 2023 at 10:39 pm

  26. Chris Laprise on October 4, 2023 at 10:39 pm

  28. Americana Dreaming 🇺🇲 on October 4, 2023 at 10:45 pm

Through 20 years in the military, alcohol almost killed me. As soon as I retired, I found cannabis, and cleaned up my life. Alcohol makes everything worse, cannabis does the opposite.

  29. SmEiF- on October 4, 2023 at 10:48 pm

Dude at the end 100% has money in delta 8 and hemp. Vote em out immediately

  30. Cristo Bal on October 4, 2023 at 10:48 pm

  31. Jason Parker on October 4, 2023 at 10:49 pm

It won’t go legal any time soon…they make way to much it being illegal

  32. Bing Bong on October 4, 2023 at 10:51 pm

TN will be the last state to have legal pot, by a few decades. We all know itll happen eventually but Im positive we will be the final ones across the finish line.

  33. Sterling Vargas on October 4, 2023 at 10:52 pm

Marijuana is safer than drinking and taking hard drugs. Most of the country is legal for recreational and medical. It’s not fair to us that live in TN. too have to frear jail or prison for partaking or purchasing Marijuana.
Delta 8, 9, or whatever they call it, That FAKE WEED IS TRASH!!
ROLL THAT, LIGHT THAT, SMOKE IT.
WEATHER LEGAL OR ILLEGAL IM ROLLING UP FOR TENNESSEE !!

  34. DUGGY DUCE ™️ on October 4, 2023 at 10:53 pm

RACISM IS LEGAL BUT BUD AINT? WELCOME TO LAME AS TN

  35. malaihiboi on October 4, 2023 at 10:54 pm

Marijuana is less dangerous than alcohol. The fact that it is deemed a more harmful drug is illogical and highlights how the government is also illogical. It’s about money not helping people or keeping people safe. It would help people more medically than a lot of pharmaceutical medicine. Again, it’s about money not protecting people.

  36. Timesurfingalien on October 4, 2023 at 10:55 pm

Decriminalization does not mean what people think

  41. Timesurfingalien on October 4, 2023 at 11:01 pm

Tennessee still miles ahead of Alabama

  42. Levity Loveday on October 4, 2023 at 11:02 pm

I love when people with no knowledge of a plant make ultimate legal decisions on it. There’s no thc in hemp. 1:1 ratios actually provide better medicine. If Chris Todd was speaking with his brain and not his ego/wallet he’d wouldn’t look like a complete fool.

  43. floydupnya upnya on October 4, 2023 at 11:03 pm
