After nearly 30 years of history, Cannabis Culture needs your help to stay in our flagship location at 307 West Hastings Street in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Cannabis Culture needs a development permit to obtain a cannabis retail license for our long-time CC Headquarters location in downtown Vancouver, BC.

In order to receive the development permit, Cannabis Culture owner Jodie Giesz-Ramsay requires special approval from the Vancouver Board Of Variance. We need your help!

Please write a letter to the Vancouver Board Of Variance – or use our template – asking them to approve a bylaw variation to obtain a cannabis retail business license for Cannabis Culture and Jodie Giesz-Ramsay.

    That’s only 3 weeks away, why not post this video much earlier? What is the backup plan if you cannot remain there, only online presence?

    I’m not anti government, but so much red tape. Get that license and it should be all good. Do letters from the US count? I don’t see why you shouldn’t be able to get a license with your long time history with and wealth of knowledge on cannabis. That would be a disservice.

    nothin wrong w/ tourists! everything in canada’s gone up in price… didnt realize the fight in b.c.’s still this dire though. and didnt know jodie emery was now sole proprietor, & changed name. whoa. pulling for ya though! i still miss cannabis culture magazines… seriously. maybe break from retail & get back into publishing?? the drug war in northamerica is SICK, they callin it ‘legalized’ just cuz corporate cartels & greedy doctors r selling ‘licenses’ & dubious vape cartridges…our work is not yet done

    Rooting for you from the east coast! I visited the lounge when I was in Vancouver back in 2020 and wish there was more of them across the country!
