Texans will have as much weed as they want regardless of a law. People will smoke it whether its legal or not. Can’t control people so cry about it!

  2. It is what it is on October 19, 2023 at 11:16 pm

Not going to happen with old people still in position

  3. ValleyJeff on October 19, 2023 at 11:19 pm

Texans have always supported it. The only people that didn’t were the people who benefit from it being illegal. Follow the money.

  4. Artisa Primus on October 19, 2023 at 11:19 pm

Yes, legalize it, but do it right. Require anyone that grows it, or sells it retail pass a criminal background check, similar to getting a Federal firearms license. The government would be able to control the content and potency. But, it’s aslo important to severely punish anyone who grows or sells it illegally. There won’t be a reason to use the black market. The punishment has to be severe like 20 years in prison for growing or selling any amount.

Vote Dan Patrick and Greg Abbott out! That will be the only way! Big pharma is paying them off! They dont care about the people of the state but themselves!

It’s a waste water and the cartels are tied to this. If you look into it you’ll see what I’m talking about. Besides we have problem that matter and this is not one of them!

  9. CG Davis on October 19, 2023 at 11:27 pm

Take ALL criminality away from this product! Not even a misdemeanor charge! It’s past stupid that these same politicians can get drunk, but want to condemn other people who enjoy unwinding!

  10. Jeff Golden on October 19, 2023 at 11:27 pm

Legalize it already, politicians keep Fucking around, I’ve been smoking in Texas since 1984 so y’all can benefit from it or not either way I’m still high as a kite 🤣

  11. Jay on October 19, 2023 at 11:28 pm

Idk about y’all but it sure doesn’t affect how I work at all. I smoke at night and the next day I’m able to perform well with no issues. People out here abusing it and doing it at the wrong times are the ones that make it look bad

  12. Chris on October 19, 2023 at 11:29 pm

Legalize Marijuana, ban alcohol, is simple

  13. DixieDoodles on October 19, 2023 at 11:29 pm

In a free country we should be able to decide for ourselves. The government is just trying to get their hands in and control the industry. Legalize completely on the federal level.

  14. Miguel Martinez on October 19, 2023 at 11:30 pm

Hell yeah I support legal weed I’m born and raised in Texas but they won’t let the people vote on it of course

  15. STGROOVE on October 19, 2023 at 11:31 pm

  16. Kryptonian on October 19, 2023 at 11:33 pm

New poll shows texans are jealous of California freedoms.

  24. Kushking420 on October 19, 2023 at 11:44 pm

It doesn’t matter about the under age people because they already do it making it legal would actually prevent y’all’s kids from getting bad stuff like if I had a kid I would rather have him get weed from a dispensary then some random guy off the street

  25. Matt Hubbard on October 19, 2023 at 11:46 pm

at this point the only ones wanting it to be illegal are the medical companys. They would lose millions

  26. Rod on October 19, 2023 at 11:47 pm

    legalize it damit!

  27. J on October 19, 2023 at 11:47 pm

    Legalize it.

Why reference medical research in general? Why not quote an expert like a journalist? Poor journalism to let him get away with that.

  28. Diandre Leblanc on October 19, 2023 at 11:47 pm

    Stupid legalize it

  29. John Doe on October 19, 2023 at 11:50 pm

Legal or illegal I’m still gonna keep smoking. Just because it’s against the law doesn’t mean it’s wrong.

  30. Bighead900 on October 19, 2023 at 11:51 pm

Do you think this will make the weed stronger or weaker making it legal?

  31. Jake Eimer on October 19, 2023 at 11:52 pm

If it ever happens it won’t be while Abbott and Patrick are in charge they both said it won’t happen while their around they are against it so even if it was up to the people those two still won’t change their mind on it so I don’t see it happening anytime soon

  32. garzie88 on October 19, 2023 at 11:52 pm

They will take your guns if you use marijuana for recreational use

  40. My harleys gopro on October 20, 2023 at 12:03 am

Just let the people vote.. thats the issue! No one wants to put it on the ballot to vote on it… HOW STUPID.

    2:12 was even higher 😭

  46. Ginger Downing on October 20, 2023 at 12:09 am

Regardless of status it’s just wrong to throw people in prison and jail for marijuana while others are making millions that is discrimination in the highest not to mention federal law should be enforced the same all over the USA because if not then it is state law that trumps federal law you can’t have it both ways

  47. Sam Lee on October 20, 2023 at 12:10 am

The funny thing about weed is people that don’t have any experience with weed are the ones that want it banned lol

  48. Jonathan Vandagriff on October 20, 2023 at 12:10 am

The fact that not only its illegal, but that you still get arrested and thrown in JAIL for having it.

  49. Levi Bailey on October 20, 2023 at 12:10 am
