    Quick question: I’m using seeds of local land races and they simply don’t germinate (any time soon), I tried rain water, tap water, boiled water, warm/cold air temperature, in the dark, they simply refuse to. Some have germinated a few months later in a flower pot (they got there by accident). Any ideas why so late?
    I have no issues germinating tomatoe or cucumber seeds btw.

    Edit: And I threw quite some seeds on the ground around my house last Fall and many of them germinated this Spring by themselves so I poached them and transplanted in pots in home.
