I feel like I do a better job by hand…

I just finished trimming about 6 lbs. of outdoor-grown Bruce Banner, Cinderella 99 and Blueberry a few weeks ago after approx. 6 weeks of trimming from a staggered harvest and so this would seem very tempting for someone like me — even though I’m like Edward Scissorhands with trimming.. lol. Super-fast precision manicuring, but next season I am either going to have to scale it back on my plant count or get myself one of these. I will point out too, that the argument that these manual trim bowls will cause you to lose more trichomes than if it were done by hand does NOT hold water. If done correctly, as was demonstrated here, you will actually lose a LOT fewer trichomes than if it were handled and trimmed by hand. Fact.

I may just get one of these. #VivosunFTW

For the last 18 months I’ve not let the lawn crew edge or use a weed eater in my back yard. https://www.youtube.com/post/Ugkx_rBCFuDW1zD6blTGhLkvAkxU657uR_lG I didn’t like the fact that they just kept cutting the edge of the lawn further and further from the rock lining the flower beds and leaving bare ground. And the grass was trimmed or scalped several feet around trees, etc. It was a constant battle with them so I told them to just mow and no trimming. I have Zoysia grass so it grows pretty slow. Obviously after a while it could use some trimming. I’m in my 80’s so I can’t do much of it myself. Finally I decided that if I could find a lightweight battery powered trimmer I might be able to do some light trimming. I decided to buy the LST201 20V trimmer. And it works great for my needs. I have back yard with about 150′ of flower beds and several trees to be trimmed. I can lightly trim the whole yard with a single charge! The grass I trimmed was only a few inches high but the trimmer was more powerful than I expected.

Had one almost two years and only just used it today. To be completely honest I actually forgot I owned one. I’m kicking myself. They work great except the blade doesn’t spin on the level but doesn’t seem to make a difference. From what I learned I used the straight blade for wet bud and the serrated blade for dry

if time is money this saves alot of money

    1. the amount of bud you put in there, i could trim faster than you spun it with scissors.
    2. if its not more convenient, then its clearly not worth degrading your buds, making a mess, and ruining bud appeal
    3. idk if you just got bad lighting but that bud looks rotten.. like literally bud rot.. especially that bud you pick up looked discolored the most. trust me I understand undesired material escapes the fiber during evaporation.. this just still isnt correct.. not every bud or plant turns out good.. if you have weed that looks like this please do not try to sell it to people.. bud like this is still salvageable for other products and is entirely fine and the proper choice.

people trimming is for weed that is gonna be smoked. you don’t need to trim your junk material. put this whole material in your butter, solvents for extraction, etc. this is simply in all aspects inefficient. if you have a business and your main concern is trying to find something to save time with large amount of product, this is still not what you are looking for. happy smoking

    Wet trim?

  19. @nighthawk5364 on November 29, 2023 at 3:31 am

Best video yet! No bullshit just a guy showing you how it works. Well done sir!

  20. @lakemarine484 on November 29, 2023 at 3:33 am

Why did my trimmer not have any instructions in the box? You should show step by step process of using the trimmer in this video. It is interesting that when you finished your "demo" that you grab and show the bud that looks like it has mold.

  21. @cheflife420 on November 29, 2023 at 3:33 am

Does it say what’s on the box when it comes from amazon ?

  22. @stickyshack3770 on November 29, 2023 at 3:36 am

I might have to try one these bad boys out soon.

  23. @donaldwaggins on November 29, 2023 at 3:38 am

Looks like it still needs a trim after spinning. Looks like a gimmick.

  24. @johnmillett1160 on November 29, 2023 at 3:41 am

I would think you would lose some crystal with this but then into the make hash pile it goes

  25. @rorystudio1928 on November 29, 2023 at 3:47 am

very scruffy trim and all the small buds fall through. still needs a hand trim
