I’m 73 years old and have Parkinson’s. I live in Pennsylvania where medical marijuana is legal and like this gentleman was having a whole lot of problems sleeping which caused a domino effect with the other Parkinson’s symptoms I was experiencing. I started taking medical marijuana in the spring of 2022 and it has really helped me. I’m now getting the best nights of sleep that I’ve had in years. The tincture I’m taking is higher in THC. It’s been a life changer for me.

I’m conflicted about this. One one hand it’s great he’s found treatment that helps. On the other hand I can’t help but be mad that when he didn’t need it he worked to keep it away from those that it would have helped because "it was bad".
Cbd only oil isn’t the one, whole plant oil with thc is best.. cbd doesn’t make it to the brain where the parkinsons is affecting, only thc makes it to the brain, thc starts to repair neurons too.
stay away from artificial sweeteners because they will give you parkinsons faster than anything

The thc will help with the shaking hands pal. It is two different proponents that together act as a whole on the whole body. Kinda like love and marriage…you cant have one without the other. The vast majority of effective drugs we currently have were developed from plants or animals. Why would cannabis be any different. For many with Parkinson’s and seizures it really is a miracle drug with few side effects.

I just found out after 24 years and dozens of doctors, i finally find one doctor and in the span of two months i find out i need back surgery for kyphosis degenerative disc disease and osteoporosis. They keep pushing muscle relaxers and pain pills on me and they do nothing but make me feel awful all day. Nothing helps so far but cannabis

It’s amazing how it was criminalized and no research was conducted, yet without the research, they legalized it. Now that everyone is using cannabis they might allow research. I am in favor of cannabis, but do not believe government should be involved and regulating a plant. From the history of our government involvement with cannabis, I would not trust anything they say in the future..😮😊

It’s not that big of a difference because THC is the medicine. CBD is great for inflammation but THC is the actual medicine. If someone can find the US patent on cannabis that will show you.

Cannabis can contribute a lot as an alternative medicine but the thing is big pharmaceutical giants can’t earn a dime on it.
Try the THC and see the real miracle. I have had Parkinson’s for 8 years and 5mg THC capsules takes away the tremors without the high. Cbd is useless in comparison, I tried both.

Haha. The science is there and has been there for years to prove positive results and effects of CBD . If human beings are and have been using it for years and otherwise would be dead from impotent over prescribed pharmaceuticals then what does that say. CBD speaks for itself.
I started smoking it to help with my sleep and it completely got rid of my nightmares because I would have them every single night and they were really awful. I’ll smoke it right before I go to sleep and no other time.
