  12. @jagababa on December 8, 2023 at 3:34 am

Extract from willow trees should work fine as rooting hormone as well.

  13. @printman52 on December 8, 2023 at 3:34 am

great video going to start cloning next week with wool rock one question do I keep the light on 24 hours a day or do I do the 18-hour light 6-hour dark under the dome and how long

What can I use instead of rockwool… Is there any way I can make it myself. Where I live, I dont think they sell rockwooll at all.

  18. @guntergewehr4179 on December 8, 2023 at 3:38 am

What is the percent on cloning?

  19. @stoshbeast1 on December 8, 2023 at 3:40 am

I can’t stand rockwool. I always use the root riot plugs or coconut coir

  20. @rghands711 on December 8, 2023 at 3:41 am

just keep moist, water every few days. i prefer to put 2′ of distilled water in tray with a cap full of b-1 and use air stone and air pump to bubble water.. clones root much faster and stronger with less loss and way less stress.. happy growing..

  26. @easztoakland3600 on December 8, 2023 at 3:48 am

Squish some aloe vera into a mason jar with water and mix it
Than grab you clones and with another aloe vera stick the clone into it so all the liquid of the aloe covers the plant than put it in the mason jar and leave it for 24 hours
It’s natural and works great when your trying to clone no need for no expensive gels

  27. @jaimedelgado7529 on December 8, 2023 at 3:49 am

any branch is good to cut for cloning? how developed does a plant need to be before you can cut? does it need to be budding or near budding stage?

  28. @Tripilen on December 8, 2023 at 3:49 am

Rockwool made from rock. He said. Clippings can go into soil, but make sure is wet and extra root agent applied. Important to try reduce cuttings exposer to air!!.This is the same method to grafting, You can take a clipping and graft it to another compatible plant of its type.
You can also cut down the middle of the cutting to split it to encourage more roots. When graft you would slice both sides of the cutting down the bottom to make a spear shape, then cut a "V" shape into the host plant(, :)–> >I   ) like so. then tie or tape the "v" shut with cutting and rooting agent tight.

this is helpful thank you yeeeeee

  30. @brianwhite772 on December 8, 2023 at 3:52 am

Im pretty sure a couple very minor cuts would not be enough to cause stress,

  31. @IR240474 on December 8, 2023 at 3:54 am

9 years after the fact, did they live? hehe..

  32. @Zaleskee on December 8, 2023 at 3:56 am

Instead of Clone gel I recommend Aloe vera gel, it works amazing!.
    Great Video!.

  33. @TheAMHaze on December 8, 2023 at 3:57 am

I thought if you cut on a female all ready in bloom you will shock her???

  34. @me53914 on December 8, 2023 at 3:58 am

    Where is part 3?

  35. @perrymorefield5559 on December 8, 2023 at 4:01 am

how long do you keep them in the dome? & for how many days do you keep them under 24 hour light? is a laundry room good to grow the clones?

  36. @raztuss on December 8, 2023 at 4:03 am

    Where’s Part 3???? DAMN IT GEORGE,,,, :O

  37. @shawnmarks1400 on December 8, 2023 at 4:04 am

    77
I was wondering, do I have to have mother plants to take clones from or can I just take my clones right before flowering time and keep that kind of cycle. I have mother plants now but I’m pretty tight on space and having trouble keeping them from getting to big between cuttings any help would be great thank you and I love your videos been following since you since ready set grow 1 and high times

  38. @oscargarcia4223 on December 8, 2023 at 4:05 am

What type of soil can I buy at a local Walmart that will go great for transplanting a very healthy 2 month old plant

  39. @farmerbob6707 on December 8, 2023 at 4:05 am

Jorge is like the bob ross of pot.

  40. @torrynerheim2887 on December 8, 2023 at 4:05 am

I noticed you are not using a heat pad, what are your feelings on heating pads?

  41. @samanthanicholson9015 on December 8, 2023 at 4:06 am

24 hour lighting for clones, how many days?

  42. @kevindobs8834 on December 8, 2023 at 4:07 am

    Airprune is best!

  43. @johnathonwooldridge8040 on December 8, 2023 at 4:07 am

U never sprayed the dome? Or slightly mist the leaves? I know u know ur stuff but skipping these crucial steps is very critical to better success when cloning.

  44. @caljs on December 8, 2023 at 4:07 am

Can it be transplanted outdoor straight into a pot with regular soil and maybe some animal fertilizer? any suggestions? (outdoor only)

  45. @linkavitchC on December 8, 2023 at 4:08 am

so how often do i fill the bottom the container with water and drain? or do i just keep them moist?

  46. @TruthInteldotcom on December 8, 2023 at 4:09 am

    Nice info, but.

I would use a heating mat and mist the inside of the dome with a spray bottle (you know Heat + Water = Humidity). The rockwool shouldn’t be soaking wet either, shake out the excess water from the cubes unless you want your clones to damp off and die.

Technaflora Rootech is also a way better cloning gel than Clonex, it has almost twice the amount of IBA. Clonex = 0.31% and Rootech = 0.55%.

If Hightimes is hiring REAL growers, tell them to hit me up Jorge 😉

P.S. The reason there isn’t a part 3 is because it probably took a month + for the clones to finally root.

  47. @davidhefner5668 on December 8, 2023 at 4:10 am

How old should a plant be before one begins cutting clones from it?

  48. @paulareason9531 on December 8, 2023 at 4:12 am

chris thomas your rite brother ide like a smoke wi the guy too he sound as they come .

  49. @MrSakolphan on December 8, 2023 at 4:16 am

I have watched 100s of cloning videos and I say not everyone exactly follow the same methods but few thing is common is cutting it at 45 degrees or an angle, trim the leaves to stimulate root growth, use some form of growth hormones such as honey, aloe or growth gel and plant indoor with grow lights…bingo!
