Clonex vs Rootech

Clonex vs Rootech

Another Clone-Off (Clonex vs Rootech). Both are great but I’d say the Rootech took the cake. What do you think?

Would the area of the plant that the cutting is taken from make a difference as to how fast roots grow? If so from where would the ideal cutting come from?

Great! Thks man, buying a Rootech now!

  11. @jereds5632 on December 19, 2023 at 4:12 am

Your video probably should have been about how important light is.  Every plant, irregardless of root stimulant, was much better on the left hand side of the tray.  The left hand side happens to be the side closest to the light.  The right hand side is away from the light and has noticeably less light.  And, if memory serves, there were more Rootech plants on the left side too.

I use both products and have had success with both.

With the container you use to clone them is it just clay pellets, or is there a solution in there as well?

  17. @checkout982003 on December 19, 2023 at 4:24 am

Everything looks so nice, neat, and professional.  Good job. However, I think that you would find that some of the roots sometimes don’t go straight down. I would have liked to have seen if there was anything behind the paper.

  18. @Chuckz88 on December 19, 2023 at 4:24 am

Ever compared them to aloe Vera? For cloning ?

  24. @hannutaskinen2032 on December 19, 2023 at 4:27 am

Like somone said before dont tip them in solition bottle. You should pour some of it in a small container and in that. Your grow and room looks clean but u can never be too carefull. Espially if new grower. Other wise its like using suringes with friends when trying to do trackmarks. If makes any sense. Like the video tho and found it usefull. Just saying be super carefull if investing time and money, it allways does pay to be more clean and avoid contaminants cos u can not see them with bare eyes. Happy grows for every one.

  29. @kbgrowkid420 on December 19, 2023 at 4:36 am

one time.. after that plain water

  30. @strim1394 on December 19, 2023 at 4:38 am

Where did you get that tub you have the clones in?

  31. @kbgrowkid420 on December 19, 2023 at 4:39 am

no need to drain them, dont add any more water to them until they begin to dry out, which usually takes about a week. I mist them everyday or 2 to keep the plants moist.

  32. @707kushman on December 19, 2023 at 4:39 am

@kbgrowkid420 are you using a seedling mat? if so what temp is your thermostat set at? and also… what are you watering your moms with prior to taking cuts?

  33. @aaronsanchezz on December 19, 2023 at 4:39 am

Damn so rootech wins? Good to know because clonex is much more expensive too!

  34. @molgore0 on December 19, 2023 at 4:42 am

how wet are the rock wool blocks. You soak them in the solution fifst, correct. Do you drain them after?.
