New marijuana laws now in effect | What to know

Starting this New Year, new cannabis laws are protecting employees who rely on marijuana for a number of reasons.

“I have ADHD, so I was on a stimulant for about 15 years. So, I decided to get off of it about two and a half years ago. And I found out that marijuana helps shut my brain down at night, and it just doesn’t keep it running and it helps me go to sleep,” said Brennen Lupton, a cannabis user.

I’m in a Republican Controlled State with RIGHT to WORK (union busting policy) and FIRE at WILL (cancels out any predigest or age problem) so an employer in my state can fire you for vague to no reasons. I met a girl at my last job that was from Texas and thought she had some rights. So I explained to her how Fire at Will works. I never saw her again. I think she quit and went back to Texas after she found out things could be much worse here!

You are perpetuating the negative connotation by referring to it as marijuana. Its proper name is cannabis. When will you become real journalists instead of presstitute propagandists for O’Biden???

I respect Mike Dewine for the moderate he is. I don’t agree with everything he does, but no one agrees on everything. He isn’t a big fan of Marijuana but he’s still pushing to expedite the law us citizens passed regardless of his personal position on the topic. Hat’s off governor, even the minor changes to our votes I don’t see an issue with. Kudos!

Meanwhile in Sweden: punishment for using marijuana is doubled! You can now get a couple of years in prison just for having metabolites in your bloodstream!

There’s a difference of using marijuana for medical purposes but when you reek of it at on the job is something different. They should make it in a pill to help those that depend on natural substances.
