Canna Clinic: identification and resolution to Magnesium deficiency
It’s crucial to diagnose the correct issues in your plants so you can treat them properly. If you have, say, an iron deficiency; then you wouldn’t want to treat it for a calcium deficiency. This is where the cannabis bible really comes in handy because of the pictorial description of all deficiencies that we find in cannabis growing
In my case here I had a Magnesium deficiency in my purple Kush, and got on it right away. First, I flushed the soil with good, pH’d balanced water and foilier fed the leaves with extra strength cal mag along with silica because silica is a jack of all trades. In this case, silica helps strengthen the cell walls and helps the plant absorb the cal mag. After new growth begins, you will start to see a difference. The leaves affected will not change so you have to judge progress on new growth. If all go well, then your plants will recover if tended to properly.
