I really hope they bring this through, I’m moving back to Vic from overseas next year and would be so happy if I could grow a couple of plants for myself without any legal repercussions

Funny. These talking heads have railed against legalization for decades, now they just shift focus and no one noticed. Corrupted

  7. @7hilladelphia on January 16, 2024 at 4:15 am

I hope Queensland decriminalises private use, especially for medical cannibis users who are in limbo here with regard to use.

  8. @howardbarr9839 on January 16, 2024 at 4:16 am

DO A STORY ON WORKPLACE TESTING!

Its ridiculous that nobody with a cannabis prescription can EVER touch their prescription without losing their job. Its a bid issue that nobody is talking about

  12. @leanneward5244 on January 16, 2024 at 4:26 am

Cannabis is way overdue to be decriminalised and legalised in Australia

  15. @justanotherguy312 on January 16, 2024 at 4:28 am

Be careful. Theirs something wrong with the legal stuff. Makes you hallucinate. That’s why I quit. Doesn’t matter what legal state I went to that’s sold it. It’s all the same. Not all of it. But the majority.

  24. @koneking2569 on January 16, 2024 at 4:36 am

Garbage, they haven’t even addressed the issue of roadside drug testing yet, we’re still awaiting upon completion of an 18 month trial, if all goes well then maybe another 6-18 months to approve changes to road side drug testing, add a few years to for decriminalization and a few more for legalization, that’s best case scenario.

  25. @julianroussety2008 on January 16, 2024 at 4:38 am

USA is about to go down a recession for 15 – 20 years it’s going to screw the whole world. Australia needs every money making opportunity at its disposal to keep its economy strong.

  33. @annfuckantifa5973 on January 16, 2024 at 4:51 am

We want legalisation!!! As prescibed cannabis user from my doctor. This is due to being ran over by a truck many years ago I cannot fathom the persecution we persist with to this day.

  34. @soultrap8554 on January 16, 2024 at 4:52 am

It must be that time of the election cycle again. All bluster until the next election comes around and labour will drop this like a hot potato, just watch

  35. @annfuckantifa5973 on January 16, 2024 at 4:56 am

Cannabis should not be linked with pill testing. Powders, pills and crystals should never be accepted. These are poisonous. Plants are from nature

  36. @populotis1336 on January 16, 2024 at 4:57 am

    PLEASE WA NEXT

  37. @kingconstantinusthesadisti133 on January 16, 2024 at 4:59 am

The world slowly turned into california street. Soon cocaine will be common in australia. Sad.

  38. @reconnaissance7372 on January 16, 2024 at 5:00 am

This is happening because they have heavily monetized the medical industry and know that they will make literal billions on the backs of Weed. I remember just 10 years ago I was arrested and taken kilometers from my home for half a gram of weed.

  39. @adamcardwell111 on January 16, 2024 at 5:01 am

I think it’s going to be a looong, slow road to legalisation

  40. @williamhoy2045 on January 16, 2024 at 5:05 am

    NSW is next

  41. @shaterproofblosm on January 16, 2024 at 5:06 am

I’m 32, autistic and have lived with *intense* depression and anxiety for 20 years now and literally a gram a week/month just crushes it for me. I do not want to smoke hydro ever. I want to grow a small plant of certified soil/compost organic weed once a year, partially so I can make some edibles with a borderline 0thc with something like the Charlotte’s Web strain for ma friends to try and also my mums memory loss.
