How much watt you need for every level? How do you calculate it?

  2. @katclaus7425 on February 1, 2024 at 5:45 am

Would 10 gallon totes be to big for this setup? The store near me doesn’t have the 3 gallon.

  3. @BreadAndGatorade on February 1, 2024 at 5:46 am

Where do you get the container and grow light? I have been using Brute containers but these look better would like to try them

Great video thanks! I just got the 3 gallon Rubbermaid totes but they seem much smaller than what you show. What are the dimensions (or link) to yours @plantedinthegarden? I cannot fit four 3" net pots across and see that you do with a couple inches in between.

  8. @jdavis85 on February 1, 2024 at 5:50 am

Great video. I’ve got the same grow tent and a similar exhaust fan. Any recommendations on grow lights and how many you need? I’m going to use your setup as a reference since you’re doing basically what I want to do.

  9. @donmaranglerfishingadventu1640 on February 1, 2024 at 5:51 am

If you do hydrophonic gardening, you don’t need a sunlight? Thanks for the response

Where do you get your kelp? I’ve only been able to find the dried seaweed snacks.

  12. @yummywaffles4525 on February 1, 2024 at 5:54 am

What light are you using ? And what strength are you using it on ?🙂

  13. @elib3888 on February 1, 2024 at 5:55 am

Hi! Can you please share where I can buy the seaweed and kelp? Your video has inspired me to give this a shot! Keep up the great work! 🙂

  20. @chasel6542 on February 1, 2024 at 6:09 am

I just ordered everything I need to make a system like this! The only question I have is how high should the water level be? I am wanting to get a floating valve so it automatically keeps the water level, but I don’t know how high to place it. Any advice @Planted in the Garden?

  21. @containingmygarden on February 1, 2024 at 6:10 am

    Great sharing your process.

  22. @DanielOlivierArgyle on February 1, 2024 at 6:10 am

Sorry if this is an often asked question, but does it work out cheaper for you to grow like rather than buying from a supermarket?

  23. @vanissaberg5824 on February 1, 2024 at 6:12 am

This is the first time seeing someone making their own hydroponics fertilizer using vermicompost tea instead of synthetic fertilizer. I’d love to see a comparison of the two side by side. Well done!

  24. @MichelleMonstera on February 1, 2024 at 6:12 am

Love this! Also, I spy your Skylake box. 😂 🇵🇭

  25. @MatthewsMushrooms on February 1, 2024 at 6:12 am

Hey mate, I have a very large worm farm and produces many litres of worm juice every day which leaks out the bottom into a bucket. Can you recommend an amount that I might add to my 5 gallon bucket?

  26. @ruthsnoke5980 on February 1, 2024 at 6:13 am

curious if pitch dark is necessary to fruit berries. I noticed you have a tent and use the grow light 12 hours at night. how dark does the garden need to be?

What tomato varieties have you had the best luck with? I’m in zone 9a and will be trying to do this outside. I’ll use shade cloth when it gets hot. Any other suggestions? Thanks for the video. It was very helpful.

  47. @jelilatA on February 1, 2024 at 6:36 am

What are your views on adding live fish to the tanks for fertilizer?!..

  50. @staceyschnick2773 on February 1, 2024 at 6:44 am

Hi love your setups. I just started growing hydro. I started withthe net cups and clay. Then i tried using pool noodles which to me i like better. I started my seedligs on the clay balls but i didnt like because they just went everywhere. I see where u use dirt and just wash roots. Havent tried that. I now am doing experiment starting seedlings on cotton balls. Squash cucumber lettuce cabbage did fine but was not successful with pea seed. To wet i think got mushy. The pepper seed has not done anything. Anyways just sharing different ideas. Thx for sharing.
