Inside one of the UK's police sanctioned cannabis clubs

Inside one of the UK’s not-so-secret cannabis clubs

Inside Teesside Cannabis Club, or Exhale Harm Reduction Centre, members can come and smoke cannabis to their heart’s content.

But this is the UK. Cannabis remains a class b controlled substance, and possession remains punishable with up to five years in prison.

So how the hell does that work?

Ed Campbell went to find out.

  7. @nickp82 on February 14, 2024 at 5:30 am

So he basically describes it as a cannabis distribution hub. That’s going to last long.

  8. @zelobinksy on February 14, 2024 at 5:30 am

I’m glad the government has appointed a politician to look at adopting similar policies as America has with decriminalisation of cannabis. Although, I bet they mess it up.
It would be fantastic having it legalised imo.

  14. @honestreview2129 on February 14, 2024 at 5:45 am

Nothing wrong with it, nature created cannabis unlike meth and cocaine it’s just stigmatised because of the smell it should be legal to smoke it EVERYWHERE in the UK.

  15. @ryangosling135 on February 14, 2024 at 5:48 am

‘They rely on the cannabis now’ – weedists really are insufferable morons arent they? Going to the Nth degree to justify their degenerate addiction.

Enjoy the schizophrenia you bunch of junkies!

I’m in Stockton on Tees, I have Multiple Sclerosis and used cannabis for a couple of years solid. I’ve come off for a bit now, but I know as I when I lean back on it, I’ll be coming here. Important places like this should be accessible to more people. Keep up the good work!

  23. @truthhurts361 on February 14, 2024 at 6:02 am

Absolutely Genius Guy. This is the Way we will go here too when our Gouvernement is not able to make Cannabis legal Like promised. Much love and respect from Germany 💚🥦

  24. @10ksubsnovideos14 on February 14, 2024 at 6:02 am

We cant smoke but its alright for the UK parliament to set up lines in the bathrooms 🙄

  25. @kyrusinek on February 14, 2024 at 6:04 am

I dont think I like this version of "legalization". Depending on how much per month it costs to join it could mean that only the more well off of us would be exempt of be given a pass to smoke.
Or maybe places have a member limit or are super selective of who and who cant join.

  26. @rjb6919 on February 14, 2024 at 6:04 am

Bet there is zero violence or anti social behavior in this place!

  27. @nickydonaldson670 on February 14, 2024 at 6:04 am

This guy is doing this and im in the middle of fighting a charge because i was meant to have been smoking my prescription instead of vaporizing it. Because i had a packet of skins on me i must have been smoking it

  28. @martynduffy on February 14, 2024 at 6:06 am

At least it used as medicine now. I get it on prescription

  29. @kevingill111 on February 14, 2024 at 6:07 am

So glad to hear that the government is finally releasing that weed is no more harmful than coffee. Shame it’s only in a select handful of places

  30. @terrytarot on February 14, 2024 at 6:07 am

    Great idea

  31. @ElliasJafari on February 14, 2024 at 6:08 am

fk me its embarrassing being english man. he calls his town little n shitteee, says police are a business and ignores he is a business profiting off people’s consumption lol. i dont need my consumption of anything on this planet to be "organised". these organisations are opposite side of the coin the polic are on – profiteers!
im for aboloshing the laws, instead, and if he wana use profits to lobby for policy change its all good, otherwise just another profiteer

  32. @l.9470 on February 14, 2024 at 6:08 am

Any in Clacton area? I’m registered medically and get my script through private company

  33. @CleedwoodTV on February 14, 2024 at 6:09 am

A smart man once said, the cannabis market is always gonna be there, so why’re the government giving that business to the criminal gangs.

  34. @GBC22 on February 14, 2024 at 6:13 am

    😂😂😂😂😂

  35. @HywelThompson on February 14, 2024 at 6:13 am

I’ve been hospitalized over ten times this year due to alcohol withdrawal and other related problems. I can’t get a relaxing joint tho!! Wtf

  36. @mattdawson3017 on February 14, 2024 at 6:15 am

There will be a point in the near future where the current drug laws will be looked back on as completely mad. Future generations won’t understand how our governments could have been so stupid.

Other countries are already on that path, it’s a shame idiots who have no idea about the realities of our drug policies seem to be driving them.

Legalisation/decriminalisation and using the extra tax to police real crimes will make the country a lot better than it is right now.

  37. @NathanMains-hi9xx on February 14, 2024 at 6:16 am

    True every word

  38. @godofmyworld77 on February 14, 2024 at 6:18 am

    I ❤ cannabis

  39. @jamesmcmahon7837 on February 14, 2024 at 6:18 am

Man is totally right.. British Empire was built on cannabis.. Hemp rope made our navy the best in the world for hundreds of years.. It’s also been in this country and only made illegal because UK government supported US ‘war on drugs’ (disgraced President Nixonin 1971).. Whole thing is joke and UK politicians won’t address because scared it’s not a vote winner 🤦🏻‍♂️

  40. @micu1544 on February 14, 2024 at 6:18 am

Why is "medical" marijuana the only medicine that you smoke?

  41. @georgebanks1553 on February 14, 2024 at 6:21 am

what a legend man… keep up the good work

  42. @GMT439 on February 14, 2024 at 6:22 am

Spot the Trap and avoid it.

  43. @user-gz1bg9hq6j on February 14, 2024 at 6:22 am

Scary how alcohol is legal but weed isn’t lol when alcohol far more destructive and damaging to a persons life

  44. @strambo4386 on February 14, 2024 at 6:22 am

Uk needs to legalise cannabis, and it should be dealt the same way as alcohol and tobacco. Educate and inform people on safe ways to use drugs. It’s a health issue not a criminal issue

  45. @queenyforpresident on February 14, 2024 at 6:23 am

I feel sorry for all the Dad’s who went to jail for selling weed and can’t get a job

  46. @YerDaDoesOF on February 14, 2024 at 6:23 am

Shit idea. Just let people consume where they want except from public places. You know…like how alcohol works. I don’t smoke anymore but you wouldn’t have found me in any "legal club" or whatever when I did. For a start not everybody wants to socialize. I mean it’s a start but it is nowhere near good enough

  47. @krishammond4229 on February 14, 2024 at 6:23 am

I’ve seen it. Most weed smokers don’t even think about other substances. People who drink alcohol on the other hand.

  48. @gogovideo10 on February 14, 2024 at 6:24 am

I resent him describing Stockton as a shitty little town. Stockton is a lovely place full of great people. It has a lot of elderly and chronically ill people, and suffers terribly from poverty and austerity, but it is such a lovely place regardless of that.

Anyone who’s never been to Stockton, I highly recommend giving them a visit, even if it’s just for the cannabis club. They deserve a look in.

  49. @WorksopGimp on February 14, 2024 at 6:25 am
