Only full legalization is the correct approach if you look at this in terms of reducing profits for drug cartels. Reducing penalties will increase use and all the weed will be coming from illegal sources. LEGALIZE IT
this is stupid, he needs to learn his facts about cannabis. hes just going based off of bullshit and lies
"why change em’ now?" because these laws don’t work. how many people are getting in trouble every year for simple possession? are these numbers decreasing with the current law? probably not. people smoke marijuana in every state whether it’s legal or illegal and they will continue to do so. not every person is drawn to marijuana and the ease and availability of the drug doesn’t automatically make everyone more likely to try it. alcohol is legal but not everyone is out getting drunk and becoming addicted. focus on the truly harmful substances, the illegal and legal ones.

look at Colorado as an example. Billions of dollars in taxes to build schools and hospitals. Plus no one gets their life ruined for a plant. Look at Colorado as an example to legalize.
