Why isn’t marijuana already fully legal here? Oh yeah! Republicans are idiotic hypocrites who like to pay libertarian ideas occasional lip service but never quite get around to actually implementing those ideas in legislation. Think of all the lives needlessly lost and the tax payer money wasted trying to fight this "war on drugs."

marijuana prohibition is ridiculous, given what we know. Alcohol withdrawals are more dangerous than heroin and it’s celebrated. We need laws that actually make sense. Anything else is old dinosaurs who time is long gone and they need step aside and admit Anslinger was wrong.

Marijuana prohibition was FRAUDULENTLY ENACTED in 1937 by soon-to-be-out-of-work alcohol prohibition bureaucrat Harry Anslinger. He desperately wanted a new empire and no lie was too big to tell to get it. — Science and widespread experience have shown marijuana has no significant harms. Every person who chooses near harmless marijuana over addictive, very harmful alcohol improves their health significantly – as well as the lives of their family and community.

Texas doesn’t want to do it cuz they don’t want to be Hypocrites about putting all those people in jail that were just smoking a little marijuana or trying to pay their bills just like with the government is trying to do also there’s money in it and they know it they’re just not trying to be hypocrites cuz if you think about it all those people that got bad records just for a little bit of marijuana cuz the government didn’t get their 10% of their cut LOL and now they’re trying to pass little laws so they could get some money but it’s so crazy to me cuz back in the day marijuana was the devil but now it’s okay to smoke and to make money off of and all those people that look down on people that sold the plant to make money to support their families got put in jail but now it’s okay and now all those people that were judging people that sold it to make some money they’re the ones trying to get into it and do the same thing to support their families

What baffles my mind is people that can condemn something that grows natural and has so many benefits? That goes to show you that BIG PHARMA has politicians in thier pocket. The good green was a gift from our creator to alleviate pain and other health issues we face. If Cannibis was legal then BIG PHARMA would lose MILLIONS & MILLIONS OF DOLLARS. Its propaganda from BIG PHARMA and ALCOHOL DISTRIBUTORS that keeps CANNABIS illegal. That is just wrong on so many levels.

just losing out on money by not legalizing, I stay high regardless

Polls show 68 percent of all Americans want to end the monstrously destructive, insane war on marijuana consumers. – 75 percent say leave it up to the states. More than 90 percent approve of medical marijuana. Now, even a small majority of Republicans want to end this sick, witch hunt. – So why do we still have it?

Because police and prosecutors build their careers and empires on the fraudulent marijuana prohibition. Because industries like alcohol and pharmaceuticals don’t want the competition. Because other interests like the bogus "treatment" quacks, the drug testing industry and the prison industries depend on it for their life’s blood. Because many banks and shaky corporations couldn’t exist without the laundered money. Because it’s a Republican tool weaponized by Richard Nixon to attack and oppress his "enemies": Blacks and Progressives. — But we’re still winning. 8^)
