Marijuana Matters: Do the economic benefits of legalizing weed outweigh the potential risks?
Marijuana Matters: Do the economic benefits of legalizing weed outweigh the potential risks?
Others like Island Park Mayor Mike McGinty say recreational marijuana will bring a human toll even if there is an economic boom.
Cannabis should be mandatory.
Thanks for the video.
McGinty pushes the long-debunked "gateway" theory. The U.S. Drug Czar’s own commissioned 1999 study of marijuana, conducted by the prestigious Institute of Medicine concluded the "gateway" theory is just a myth that does not operate in reality. This has been confirmed by every legitimate study since then.
In fact, SAMHSA research shows that for every 100 people who try marijuana, only ONE later becomes a regular consumer of illegal addictive, hard drugs.
Chasman is a bogus "treatment" quack. They get most of their victims… I mean, patients, ordered to them from courts and other "authorities" NOT for any problem anyone has with marijuana but just for being "caught." – I’m sure the weasel Chasman knows that research shows teen marijuana use has FALLEN in all the re-legalized states.
Science and widespread experience have shown marijuana is not addictive and has no significant harms. – Every person who chooses near harmless marijuana over addictive, very harmful alcohol, improves their health significantly – as well as the lives of their family and community.
Even without the economical benefits it’s still should be done. Should’ve been done a long time ago
Amen cannabis is save it’s killed no one and stops racism
