A Clear Winner Between Plant Success Great White And Real Growers Recharge

A Clear Winner Between Plant Success Great White And Real Growers Recharge

I’ve been itching for a long time to compare Great White vs Recharge, I finally have the setup at home to do a fair comparison and I’ll be honest, I was surprised to see who won, but extremely glad I found a clear winner. I go through every single thing I did to make this comparison as fair as possible so you can be the judge.

There is no doubt for me after completing the mycorrhizal fungi, trichoderma, and bacillus subtilis trial that this just needs to be a part of my dutch bucket grow setup. Happy growing to the rest of you!

You are using the recharge wrong. You should add it to water and then water your plants not top dress.

  2. @scislianlongshadow on April 1, 2024 at 9:03 am

Correct me if I am wrong but is not recharge and great white are actually meant for organic soil growing so a lot of the microbial life is there to break down organic nutrients for consumption by the plant and a hydroponics setup seems to be an unfair comparison? I would be curious to see how they stack up against each other in that environment .

  3. @austinreese420 on April 1, 2024 at 9:03 am

Do big foot rapid root vs great white

  4. @Bobbyleebudde on April 1, 2024 at 9:04 am

Yea I am a great white fella myself

  5. @franciscommonroig9460 on April 1, 2024 at 9:04 am

Very informative. However, I think the test needed a control: plants with regular fertilizer or no fertilizer at all just to compare how effective these to products are.

  6. @leonthomas1320 on April 1, 2024 at 9:05 am

Hey thanks for making this video

  7. @just10b87 on April 1, 2024 at 9:05 am

Glad you did test on this. I run great white, I have been for like 5+ yrs now. Ever since it came out. It has helped my stems to be more firmer, without adding silica, I add silica now I didn’t used to but still great white gave goot stems. Also, I did my own personal experiment of one plant with great white and one without it. It was such huge difference. I have never stopped using great white since than. All plants need microbials and that mycrozhiema idk how spell sorry. Is a god send. Loved your video, recharge works pretty good if you have nothing. If you do have choice though seems like great white is the one. I just wish you would put price up to compare. I’m hooked on Great White.

  8. @dwang79 on April 1, 2024 at 9:06 am

How would this comparison do in soil?

  9. @thedank4313 on April 1, 2024 at 9:11 am

Kind of like comparing apples to oranges

  10. @aceheru7855 on April 1, 2024 at 9:13 am

One is a root stimulator the other one is made for replenishing your overworked soil and serve different purposes I don’t understand this comparison

  11. @elliebryant2812 on April 1, 2024 at 9:14 am

Probably help you out a little if you’d read the packaging. Recharge is not to be used in hydro. SMH.

  12. @jptatts404 on April 1, 2024 at 9:14 am

Why not do this test in soil ??

  13. @comfortablynumb9342 on April 1, 2024 at 9:15 am

It looks to me like you should try mixing both products using half the recommended strength and try to get the best of both worlds.

  14. @irvpena5265 on April 1, 2024 at 9:15 am

Try it with Dynomyco included with these 2 next time around. But I would do a soil or coco to see the root growth around the pots. Shouldn’t take longer than a a month to get explosive root growth from which ever one you pick. But I’m sure there’s a differences since each one has different ingredients and we know that even 1 extra/less can be a huge difference on how they interact.

  15. @bdaly03 on April 1, 2024 at 9:16 am

    Great video, thank you!!

  16. @SetTheCurve on April 1, 2024 at 9:17 am

You should always run a control with no product. You’ll be amazed how much money you can save.

  17. @thresh0014 on April 1, 2024 at 9:17 am

Without using a cutting from the same plant for the control,GW and recharge in soil/coco style hydro setting not DWC then this is inconclusive. Great white works on contact with roots that are in a rhizosphere and recharge is just powdered kelp/molasses blend that also humic and fulvic acids that happen to contain microbes from the castings. A control is also a must tho I’m sure you know that and are just experimenting and having fun. Who knows maybe we’ll get lucky and something unexpected will happen.

I will subscribe( and hit the bell) because you got moxie and are at least bringing some sort of new content to the table instead of the same old videos some are making over and over about aspirin, molasses or their "tea recipe". lol Thanks for sharing and taking the time to do the work.

A couple video suggestions I bet you’d enjoy and there’s little to no other videos about some of these topics, I had planned on extensive videos about some of them but I’m far too busy, Unfortunately. Enjoy.

-Cigarette butts(just an unsmoked one near growing plants vs without vs smoked butt near plant. I read somewhere that the butts would slow and hinder growth to extremes by just sitting near a plant, could be interesting.

-Effects of caffeine on seedlings and older plants in small amounts and very large amounts. Maybe even if top dressing caffeine powder Vs root drench Vs foliar has any difference or effect at all. how long it may last if there is an increase in production or noticeable effect.

    – Nicotine(pure powder without all the additional contaminants the cigs would have) effects on growth/germination rates in small and very large doses on plants in several stages of life(seedling, veg, bloom, transition, ripening etc)

-Use a powerful neodymium magnets north pole on some seeds and then on others south pole exposure on seeds before germination. You’ll be amazed at this one. Magnets are fun to play with on older plants as well causing insert and delete genetic mutations(some of which are actually beneficial)

-Since we’re on magnets why not try out electromagnat culture?

    – A better plant music experiment than Mythbusters did, with more focus on hrtz and frequencies instead of typical classical, rock, metal, jazz, nature sounds, also the time at which they get to hear it for 1-2 hours each morning and before lights out vs 12 hours on vs 24 hours on. Also a decible level varation with each test. Some get 1 some get 11 haha

I could go on for hours but I’ve got clones to cut&label.

  18. @zoso1337 on April 1, 2024 at 9:17 am

Great testing! Can you compare NPK Grow Microbes? Or maybe NPK Grow/Bloom microbes mixed vs Great white?

  19. @mariarebisz705 on April 1, 2024 at 9:19 am

recharge is not suppose to be use in dwc thats why you where getting the black root

  20. @cannafarmer on April 1, 2024 at 9:20 am

Great white saves my plant, it’s superior imo from using both. Recharge is decent though and cheaper😊

  21. @kalebcompton8122 on April 1, 2024 at 9:22 am

Recharge is not supposed to be used in hydro it’s meant for soil dude.

  22. @OGbrick420 on April 1, 2024 at 9:23 am

recharge has kelp, and molasses, two types of plant food technically. great white comes with no food, not a very fair comparison now is it?

  23. @alanobrien3138 on April 1, 2024 at 9:23 am

Would you expect same results with marijuana?

  24. @KoolAide187 on April 1, 2024 at 9:26 am

Just FYI, I grow hydroponically. I’ve used both of these products and like them both. If you want to have white roots on both plants you can order some SLF-100 it is an enzyme that basically breaks down salts and matter in the water helps roots stay white.

  25. @jayn6496 on April 1, 2024 at 9:28 am

Can you do a test with fish shit vs recharge

  26. @ckhang on April 1, 2024 at 9:29 am

You should redo this comparison but with the Mycos Chum and King Crab together since the Recharge has molasses, bacteria and the acid combos.

  27. @tonyb.7158 on April 1, 2024 at 9:30 am

Gotta try the paint brush sprinkle! Cool man.

  28. @donovangolemon4200 on April 1, 2024 at 9:30 am

Yeah youre not supposed to use recharge in irrigation or hydroponic reservoirs. It literally says it on their site 😅

  29. @littlenugs9942 on April 1, 2024 at 9:30 am

I thought the recharge did better myself. More mass. The color discoloration is from the molasses that’s in the recharge. And its obvious to me that you were getting a lock out with the plant and the slimy root. Prob caused from the water being to warm. Great white is a good product but way to expensive in my opinion. Especially since most people can go get what’s in the jar from the forest for pennies on the Dollar. Nice test and thanks for the video and your time

  30. @user-ho5vz5tg3r on April 1, 2024 at 9:31 am

    Recharge gets crazy results.

  31. @timdarmetko4039 on April 1, 2024 at 9:31 am

please do this same test but in soil . glad you did this video

  32. @kevincrow5683 on April 1, 2024 at 9:33 am

I just started using great white and damn what wonders it does

  33. @Subie_OffXroad on April 1, 2024 at 9:34 am

You do understand recharge is meant to be used during the flowering stage of a plants lifecycle. The bacteria are much different than the great white that you’re using. The great white is made to be used during germination in vegetation. So your experiment is highly flawed

  34. @DavidfromMichigan on April 1, 2024 at 9:36 am

Wow. Wasn’t expecting that. Think I might have just discovered a channel I like.. and need! Thanks man!

  35. @Spanky-ju6rc on April 1, 2024 at 9:37 am

It would’ve been nice if you had mentioned that Great White is DOUBLE the price of Recharge, AND has no kelp or molasses in it. Recharge is better despite your 7th grade science project

  36. @barryfredrick2731 on April 1, 2024 at 9:40 am

I did the same trial with cannabis and *Recharge* came out on top. I’m wondering if maybe you had an <unknown> agent discoloring your roots. I’m always afraid of making a decision off of a single trail, yes it was 3 plants but *they a shared the same water.*
Just putting in my 2 cents, this is only my honest opinion.

  37. @ckhang on April 1, 2024 at 9:40 am

Great white vs big foot mycorrhizae please.

  38. @joemoura9998 on April 1, 2024 at 9:42 am

One of the best comparison videos I’ve seen, hands down 🤙🏻

  39. @HouseDadLife on April 1, 2024 at 9:42 am

I can’t tell you how pleased I was with this trial, it answered a really tough question for me about what product I should be using for my indoor dutch bucket grow setup. https://youtu.be/ZiHABfa_Brk Like all other things in this grow, many hard lessons already learned.

  40. @uPimppi on April 1, 2024 at 9:43 am

its a little late but can we see this same test with dirt?

  41. @anonymousmc7727 on April 1, 2024 at 9:44 am

If you need either one of those products…..your doing it wrong

  42. @Scott-cf5jo on April 1, 2024 at 9:45 am

can i apply recharge to my roots

  43. @user-eg8hb8xt3j on April 1, 2024 at 9:46 am

Don’t put this stuff in hydro. Run sterile reservoirs . I don’t know why people complicate such a simple plant to grow

  44. @josephfries2344 on April 1, 2024 at 9:48 am

Have you tried voodoo juice vs great white

  45. @ernestdenney2223 on April 1, 2024 at 9:48 am

I know recharge is intended for use is soil as they are soil microbes and don’t do well in water for extended period of time recharge is for microbes with added benefit of mycorrhizae while great white is mycorrhizae why would you compare them i use both recharge for microbes great white for mycorrhizae

  46. @user-dd8ez1qi9w on April 1, 2024 at 9:49 am

this guy does horib le test, he has recharge on left but at the end he has recharge on right? comp;lete b.s !

  47. @geraldblount4159 on April 1, 2024 at 9:51 am

Master Blend and Jack’s test that

  48. @thsizzle8272 on April 1, 2024 at 9:51 am

An air stone in the buckets would greatly help your root health and they won’t be all stained and dark 👍

  49. @donlowery1275 on April 1, 2024 at 9:54 am

Try as mentioned and just add to living or organic soil , with no ph adjustment. The results are impressive. Neat video and interesting to see it in a hydro sytem . Those types of fungi and microorganisms dont do well in synthetic salts and hydro . You can however find microbes that work extremely well in synthetic systems that would be great for these purposes.

  50. @REALCEDRICKBATES on April 1, 2024 at 9:54 am

I would like to see floraflex vs athena
