As a very profitable religion – these bills will be stopped. This religion begets not only a costly legal programs, it supports a Billion dollar drug testing business, that uses thousands of Medically trained Nurses, rather than treat humans, who drug test EVERY mother giving birth for cannabis, (under fear of imprisonment of nurses), to feed the other State-run foster care business!
IF a mother has any cannabis in her blood that child is immediately stolen by the State and the baby is sent off to live in foster care for life. It is very profitable as the STATE pays near $1600.00 a month per child to those who RUN huge ‘foster care houses’ as a BUSINESS!
All of the State and local police, who use their daily abused broken dogs to attack humans, have the same false($$$ making) logic; "Every MURDER site I go too, has MARIJUANA in the house!! ", maybe also has Milk in the Refrigerator as well, shall we outlaw refrigerators, and milk too? This shows a mental illness, that would require Police officers to undergo very expensive trainings to stop such acting out such deeply ingrained State of Indiana religious beliefs.
For those businesses-(kidnapping children off the delivery tables), and religion reasons, their ‘religious rights’ to examine, study urine, will not be stopped, the lobbyists will continue to do what THEY want, full control over the lawmakers of Indiana.
Simply, there is too much money made and paid in the present "system" to change it.
Keep in mind, these same lawmakers have outlawed Unions, and repealed ALL the Christian Usury laws, while under the control of the same lobbyists’ and that the State of Indiana set up and runs all these for profit businesses, under threats of five year prison sentences for nurses, imprisonment for all others and constant drug testing and expensive burden on all business owners, will continue to support the religious urine watching as demanded now by the State laws.
Simply they are now making more money ON the State program$$$$ to stop it and make less by raising taxes on it’s use. There is Billons of dollars to be paid for the testing and kidnapping babies for their expensive foster care providers, they won’t stop, it is their State of Indiana PAID for Religion. The lobbyists, who collect 100’s of thousands from the testing companies will not allow any changes., period. Eyetelluwat!

Indiana is surrounded by cannabis states. Kentucky’s medical program starts next year! WE ARE COMPLETELY SURROUNDED. Surveys have been concluded and in 2021 80% of Hoosiers have wanted some form of legal cannabis, but the only thing holding us back is our governor. He always has the same lame excuse “ Oh, I’m not doing anything unless the federal government does something first.” Grow a pair Eric. Your job is representing the people, not yourself and your ideas.

It should be legal. With it being legal and taxable it would be a positive for the state, and reduce crime.

Cannabis should be just as legal and easy to obtain anywhere as alcohol currently is. No exceptions. It’s so easy: As legal and easy to obtain/use as alcohol currently is. Why hold relatively benign, often healing cannabis to any sort of irrational, stricter double standard than perfectly legal alcohol?

They will talk about how they just don’t know about the long term health effects and that there needs to be more studies and then someone will wring their hands and ask: “but what about the children? Will someone please think of the CHILDREN?!?!?”

If legal and all the money coming in may be the property tax will go down

  8. @hammyhamhamster5993 on April 22, 2024 at 8:50 am

Legalize cannabis federally within each and every state. This way, irrational prohibitionist politicians can’t obstruct and prevent legalization against the will of the vast majority of Americans whom support full federal cannabis legalization nationwide. Treat cannabis exactly like we treat far more dangerous and deadly yet perfectly legal alcohol. Legal in all states.

It’s not going to happen in Indiana.

If you don’t like legalization, keep taking your opiates. They destroy your digestive system and cause addiction. 🖕

Once Kentucky legalizes, Indiana can sit and spin.
