Here’s a couple colas off a 30 oz 4×4 600 watt HPS. I did breed most of the strains I post. Advice for all growers. When something elite comes around, self it, or better yet keep mothers going!

How much yield did you lose? LEDs are inferior. The guy had to lower EC. Not good.

Why are you using blurple? you wanna run with the new white lights man

  14. @MrE1981 on April 24, 2024 at 8:58 am

Just to let possible customers of this business know. Blurples are old-tech. When omitting green from the spectrum you lose leaf and canopy penetration. It’s scientifically proven on Cannabis in particular. Read the studies done by Utah State University to confirm yourself. I’ll be here to remind everyone on each video. Too many charlatans around apparently. If you want to test Rob’s knowledge, ask him to explain why he’d push blurples, which have almost 0 green. Then ask him why white medium temp diodes, which have blue, green, red, and a bit of far red, will underperform a purely blue+red(blurple) spectrum. Excessive blue is tested to have zero effect on THC/CBD levels. Check for yourselves in the studies.

We have an 122 HPS setup with a few CMH and about 10(1 row) of the neXtlight mega in our 50 light room. How would we get into converting to all LEDS without so much out of pocket because we really want to make the switch not only for yield but also to conserve power because 122 1000w leds it’s a good bill for sure. No need to use so much energy for lights and even more to cool the space

No new expensive light bars are this color ? Am I missing something here ?

  19. @georgemao966 on April 24, 2024 at 9:10 am

Just wondering if those lights output is enough for cannabis?

  20. @bounmeeyang8854 on April 24, 2024 at 9:11 am

The 1st step into helping customers whose planning to build is what phase of their electric is needed. Im some states rural Residential can do commercial growing. Trying to run 10 plus lights on a regular 1 phase electrical setup will burn the breaker. Maybe cover this part of it before any diacussion about lights. Will hate for someone to purchase ten 650 watt LED thinking plugging into an oulet is all thats needed. Just my opinion

  21. @OldSchoolGrowing on April 24, 2024 at 9:12 am

Which set up is better? All HPS or All LED?
