auatralian hop bush, is not remotely related to true Hops so hybridization with cannabis is completely inconceivable

  3. @austinTheBoston1995 on April 29, 2024 at 8:26 am

It’s was being grown under the name Bindi Bud, and large amounts were available for a few years, and was little nugs about 5-10 mm, and very tight and hard, the ThC was about 12-14 / cent, mull amatics were the go for chopping it, seeds were pointed both ends and small, and kept cool for a period helped germinate, and it definitely had Hops crossed into it, it didn’t look like pot at all, just in its last stage, we used to get it from NE Nsw, and was popular in Sydney for its good sized ounce bags and puffyness after being mulled up, unfortunately haven’t seen The old Bindi bud for about 15 years now, which is a shame, well that’s a roundup on a Unique little prolific plant that was around for the late 80s which was a winner in its day, I’ll leave the meaning of Bindi up for your research guys, cheers hey.

I’m growing it right now and I plan on keeping them male to make more seeds

  5. @regularsizeruss3874 on April 29, 2024 at 8:29 am

We grew this on the east coast of the US in the early 2000s. The guy we got the clones from called it "mutant weed". We weren’t impressed but the novelty made up for it! Always wondered what it was!

This is an awesome looking strain for the stealth grower. It’s kind of like the Dewey duck stuff. Awesome video man thank you.

  14. @patrickmcmanus5373 on April 29, 2024 at 8:44 am

I started mutating cannabis strains in the eighties. I used a heart medication called Colchicine. I had a book from America on how to create new strains. I put 100 seeds into the colchicine mix and only 3 survived. 1 grew like a vine and died. 1 grew fairly normal except faster growth. The 3rd grew like an indica with 2" inch wide leaves and flwered when a month old. It was male but the flowers grew upside down on a long flower stem. So I used the pollen to make seed and planted it in the rainforest. It grew really well until the police found it.

Is this a Freakshow parent? Looks like Shapeshifter crossed this with ??? to achieve Freakshow.

  19. @underbuxe7997 on April 29, 2024 at 8:50 am

I see an automatic plant like this… Short bloom then it stops and no longer grows in height… what can I do?

  20. @patrickmcmanus5373 on April 29, 2024 at 8:51 am

I’m in North eastern Australia and have never seen ABC. I have bred strains that did grow wild 30 years ago. In Oz it was originally mainly Sativa from Papua New Guinea, Thailand,Sumatra and Durban. Indica strains were rare and I grew 500 plants and only got 1 Indica. The ABC sounds like what the north American outdoor growers need to toughen their strains. I see so many pull their plants before there ripe because of frost and cold.

  21. @TrinityHealth215 on April 29, 2024 at 8:52 am

C.S.I. Humboldt has a whole variety of the ABC strain. The breeder Inspecta is a damn legend.

  26. @doinksinamish5297 on April 29, 2024 at 8:57 am

Anyone in aus that can get these? I’m filling the backyard 🤣

  27. @brianmorris364 on April 29, 2024 at 8:58 am

A cannabis and brewing hops hybrid could be used to make a high THC beer. And that my friend is science being done right 👍

  28. @ericneiman5556 on April 29, 2024 at 8:58 am

It make me think about how cannabis may have looked very different in the past. Like when man first started using the plant. Cool stuff

  29. @LumocolorARTnr1319 on April 29, 2024 at 8:58 am

The strain is exported and called "Subterfuge#1" (ABC) and is available outside Australia now.

  30. @madorganicscientist2527 on April 29, 2024 at 8:59 am

If I ever came in contact with an ABC strain I’d definitely breed it with a whicked pheno and hunt the best of the potent and best of the mutant strain and make the ABC back to where it belongs, with a decent amount of THC and doesn’t look like ganja 🤘

  31. @brianmorris364 on April 29, 2024 at 8:59 am

Fat bastard and Frisian duck are two interesting cultivars to grow. I’ve seen some weird mutations on cannabis plants that made them unrecognizable as cannabis until you smelled them.

  32. @johnmaclean2040 on April 29, 2024 at 9:01 am

    ❤️

  33. @rad4805 on April 29, 2024 at 9:02 am

anyone know if this is around melbourne?

  34. @seedy-TV on April 29, 2024 at 9:02 am

It’s wild everywhere around Coffs Harbour in the bush

  35. @Sticky1 on April 29, 2024 at 9:03 am

I know this post isn’t new, I shared this to a legalise group in Australia.
Maybe surprising but most Australians even pot users don’t even know that we have a native cannabis. I will keep at eye out for seed.

  36. @bengeorge1794 on April 29, 2024 at 9:04 am

I have grown this weed I thought it was weird I didn’t know it was a strain native to Aus I’m sure I still have some seeds floating around somewhere. If I find them I’ll try to grow them and post a result

  37. @johnpavlic701 on April 29, 2024 at 9:06 am

It’s available at a couple of seed banks in Australia

  38. @husseinalmeyahy5955 on April 29, 2024 at 9:06 am

Hey I live in nsw Australia I appreciate hearing about this I would like to get my hands on some seeds to grow and play around with and I always find it interesting to see these strains that have these awesome mutations and don’t really look like your average fan leaf 🍁

  39. @jkpenn2003 on April 29, 2024 at 9:06 am

grafting to hop bush so can harvest cloning material for next crop

  40. @mchammer5034 on April 29, 2024 at 9:09 am

Could be coincidence but to old hemp growers the stalk has two parts- the ‘bast’ on the outside and the ‘hurd’ inside. Bastard probably came from bast hurd originally

  41. @MmmmDatAss on April 29, 2024 at 9:10 am

Is this one of the rare few things from Australia that is not trying to kill humans?

  42. @shawnmcmullan5457 on April 29, 2024 at 9:11 am

My mum use to grow that weed in her front garden. Always thought it was a mutant .
    Little bindi buds
She thought it was great as no one recognised it .lol.

  43. @derekmckiernan5605 on April 29, 2024 at 9:12 am

    oh wow
    great video
abc was my first introduction to weed, we smoked it and grew it on the mid north coast of australia
you can get high levels of thc if grown correctly

  44. @balifeathers on April 29, 2024 at 9:13 am

I live in Australia and ABC seeds are available here but the trade is illegal.

  45. @juggernautproduktion on April 29, 2024 at 9:13 am

Awesome. I’ve got a bunch of seeds and have grown it before. I have 2 under a UFO now in seedling, and 2 outside in natural light going outdoor method. Great strain. Not sure what mine was bred with (where I am in Australia, there’s lots of outdoor hybrids), but she packs a punch for the stoned so I’m not complaining. Typical spaz leaves and stature, looks more like an herb than a chron plant. I was just looking at seeds, and the yanks are selling em for 200 per 15 pack! Wow! I’m sure they’ve been bred well but nevertheless! Come round and I’ll give you a handful 😂
Happy growing and smoking peoples. 🤘✌️🖤🎼🎵🌱🪴😈🎶🤪😜

  46. @benc1978 on April 29, 2024 at 9:14 am

Seen it in Tasmania in the wild in the late 90’s. Smoked up shit. Like most Tassie buds.

  47. @jeffhucle6436 on April 29, 2024 at 9:15 am

    can barely fuckin hear ya

  48. @anniedarkhorse6791 on April 29, 2024 at 9:17 am

Interesting. As a NSW person, I couldn’t be happier, even if it’s not that great. There must be a few relaxed Kangaroos hopping around from eating this.

  49. @ericneiman5556 on April 29, 2024 at 9:20 am

Between this and freakshow my mind is blown. Albino buds too. 🤯
