  6. @drcaplan on May 15, 2024 at 9:16 am

All shifts come with changes in balance – everyone will feel the impact. Some will be able to adapt efficiently and adjust to the new reality. Others who cannot pivot will face different conditions. YES, doctors have not been prescribing, but they will have to learn about cannabis and the endocannabinoid system, and they’ll have to learn about the medical substances their patients are already consuming for self-care. And here, didn’t we all understand that this was the job description of doctor?

The black market is strong enough to roll with any changes. I’m in my 60s and herb has been widely available my whole life. Legalize it!

  12. @johnathanfabian1213 on May 15, 2024 at 9:20 am

  18. @Charlesyoung-hn3py on May 15, 2024 at 9:29 am

It’s all medicinal because its the most medicinal plant substance known to Man so no matter who’s using it or for what reason the medicine remains medicine. I don’t think smoking it is very medicinal compared to eating it but nonetheless its still the same plant were talking about. Everyone is trying to define things that don’t need to be defined. Just make the plant legal and let people do what they want with it if a big company wants to sell it regulate them and make sure they aren’t cutting corners regulate it like a food product like they do for Snus Tobacco in Sweden.

  19. @KAfishnfarm on May 15, 2024 at 9:31 am

  22. @MrDuffy81 on May 15, 2024 at 9:35 am

The state doesn’t do anything for the people. The government is a criminal entity that leeches and steals from the public. They take take take take take and demand more. The government needs to get shut down.

  23. @JoeSanchez-oy7qo on May 15, 2024 at 9:37 am

  25. @fukhue8226 on May 15, 2024 at 9:40 am

All these guys are going to want to talk about is how it is going to cut into their profits. These guys want pot just barely legal enough for them to grow and sell it but not legal enough for you to do it. Legalize it and get the Hell over it. American Wars have killed more people than pot ever thought about killing. If you want the Youth of America to quit dying stop fighting wars and stop letting Fentanyl into the country!

  26. @marthabrunette on May 15, 2024 at 9:40 am

Grow your own,it isn’t that hard, legalized or not, unless you wanna deprive yourself of your medicine just because some other asshole in a suit and tie told you too, people need to open their eyes and stop acting like slaves and subjects

  27. @williamprice1497 on May 15, 2024 at 9:42 am

  34. @AnonymousRapGuy on May 15, 2024 at 9:50 am

That guy is whats wrong with the "weed business." He could care less about it being good for people or people having access and not being arrested for a plant, instead he is only worried about how it will impact his sales and his business.

  35. @micheleroussel9129 on May 15, 2024 at 9:51 am

I’m with the doctor on this one. Once the feds are in the party is over and so is our revenue.

Raphael Mechoulam, esteemed as "the godfather of cannabis research," has been pivotal in pioneering our understanding of cannabis through his groundbreaking work, including the isolation of THC, CBD, and the discovery of the endocannabinoid system. Commencing his research in 1962 with support from the United States government by the following year, Mechoulam’s contributions established the foundational principles of cannabis research. Despite his passing in 2023, his legacy endures as the research he ignited continues to advance. This raises an imperative question: why does this monumental work and its ongoing developments remain underreported in mainstream discourse? It is of utmost importance for us to delve into this field, acknowledging Mechoulam’s profound contributions and ensuring the continued exploration of his findings for the betterment of scientific and medical communities worldwide.

Cannabinoid Hyperemesis syndrome almost killed me. Worst thing I’ve ever experienced. A week in hospital living off IVs for nourishment.
It isn’t for everybody. Listen to your body. If you smoke/vape heavily, like I did with 90%+ THC vapes and bowls of top shelf all day every day (from the dispo), and you’ve been having stomach issues, try taking a long break. I’m talking at least one month, two would be better. Your tolerance will reset, and if your stomach issues go away, you know the cause.
Too much herb (in any form) can wear out your CBD receptors. Normally, appetite is increased and nausea decreased. But the opposite happens if they’re worn out. You can’t keep anything down, you feel dizzy and get horrible cramps. Eventually, if you don’t stop, you’ll end up like I did. With life-threatening full body cramps that don’t go away for days.
From head to toe I was paralyzed into one big charlie horse. Exhausting is an understatement. I lost 25lb in 5 days, and I was only 130lb to begin with. They were amazed I didn’t get rhabdo, but I was in very good physical health, so they suspected that was the only reason I didn’t. They had me covered in big ice bags in an already cold hospital room to keep my temps down. My heart went well over 200bpm while laying down. They had defibs ready, signed my power of attorney over, and were asking who I wanted there if my heart stopped and I died.
    All from weed. Yep. Seriously.

  38. @thedirtybubble9613 on May 15, 2024 at 9:52 am

Is this supposed to be a bad thing? Open up the market and spur competition and innovation?

  39. @yolondaadams7343 on May 15, 2024 at 9:53 am

    Marijuana is synthetic

  40. @lockofthedeath on May 15, 2024 at 9:55 am

  41. @codyperry6149 on May 15, 2024 at 9:58 am

You could claim your federal tax deductions if it pass. That would be huge for small business owners.

  42. @marthabrunette on May 15, 2024 at 9:59 am

If only alcohol was treated with the same distinction, but it isn’t,because most of our politicians are FUCKING DRUNKS!!!!!! People drink themselves to death everyday, but not once have I ever heard of a case anywhere in the world, where someone died of weed consumption alone, but yet weed is still demonized, another example of a society of stupid sheep who believe everything their government tells them and everything they hear/see on the news

  43. @contrxversial on May 15, 2024 at 9:59 am

  46. @BUGZYLUCKS on May 15, 2024 at 10:01 am

It is a less dangerous drug. Cannabis is harmless when used moderately and responsibly.
