Then there is the price gouging they sell it for. And illegal toxic chemicals used to grow it with.

I’m Brazilian, I live in Italy, it would be a dream to work in the cannabis world, and the thing I love most, how do I get an opportunity, I would easily move to the USA, I have an Italian passport, I can speak English, not fluently, but I know Italian and Portuguese

So this was posted 4 months ago. Ohio passed the law and the law makers are now taking there damn time to fight over where the tax money should be distributed. Go figure… meanwhile connoisseurs like myself say screw you I’m taking a road trip to Michigan and getting my supplies.
Because there is so many dispensaries in Michigan and so much bud for sale it’s cheaper than when Ohio finally gets its shit together.
I went to one in Michigan bought two ounces got a half ounce for free, got an 1/8th for being a first time customer. Came home with vapes and edibles.

  9. @jonmacdonald5345 on June 4, 2024 at 10:51 am

Everyone knows Ohio weed is nothing but booof

  10. @itstallionman on June 4, 2024 at 10:51 am

It’s time we stopped making nature illegal. Nixon threw the report on Marijuana in the trash can and we’ve been fighting this stupid war ever since.

  11. @andrewdeddens1943 on June 4, 2024 at 10:53 am

I gotta smoke with that news anchor!

  12. @Michael.Lowe22 on June 4, 2024 at 10:55 am

The real reason the state of Ohio and Police are against Marijuana is because this will limit their ability to create revenue from traffic stops for simple possession. Additionally, the state is trying to figure out how to control and tax — pure greed. No taxation without representation should still be a thing. The government mismanages the tax revenues they have and need to stay out of this new venture that could support the citizens of Ohio through road improvement and other benefits to society.

Many news, police and politicians push the anti-marijuana rhetoric of the 1950’s. Most reporters say we haven’t been able to study marijuana but in reality there are 23 states legal with their own data, numerous colleges and corporations spending millions to study for the last decade or more. Why does the news always emphasize the bad but never take 10 minutes to research for themselves to identify positive benefits–almost like the talking points are handed to them. The most blatant lie being pushed or fear mongering around marijuana use is that it will lead to accidents, crime, etc. Nearly Every state that has legalized marijuana has not seen an uptick in deaths or crime directly related to recreational adult use.

Why is Ohio last to everything? Why aren’t we looking at the 23 other states who have legalized marijuana for adult use and taking their legal framework as an example? We need to learn that fear mongering and placing high tax is not the correct strategy to realizing our states potential via adult use legalization.

Im gonna open up a shop called McBud. Where you can get burgerz and bluntz

  20. @littlemac8673 on June 4, 2024 at 11:03 am

That "pre-roll vape pen" as you called it. Yeah, that’s a way to dab too.
Ohio REALLY needs knowledgeable reporters for cannabis stories. We also need knowledgeable government on this matter. The folks about to change our decision are extremely ignorant on all things cannabis. It’s really sad. They don’t know anything about what it takes to grow, it’s uses, medical benefits, etc. I bet our governor doesn’t even know what RSO is.

  21. @MatthewShepard-os2gd on June 4, 2024 at 11:07 am

  24. @rbwirth12 on June 4, 2024 at 11:11 am

There goes the neighborhood! Since legalization in California, the smell of it is everywhere and the number of shiftless loiterers has increased. Pass by any homeless encampment, the smell of pot nearly eliminates the smell of excrement, which I suppose is a positive, but it’s a good commentary on what legalization does.

  25. @iflick7235 on June 4, 2024 at 11:13 am

Marijuana is perceived as "stronger" now because you’re able to use more of it. Back in the day, half of the bag you purchased was thrown away (stems, seeds) and yes, what was left wasn’t that strong. Now, the potency of cannabis is measured by how little you have to smoke, not how much.

  26. @owenhalverson9119 on June 4, 2024 at 11:13 am

😂 that news anchor on the right is intrigued on weed he dont know if he wants sativa indica or hybrid possibly the super strong pen

  27. @austinfiala5230 on June 4, 2024 at 11:14 am

    LEGALIZE IT DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!

  28. @JF238xCreatingABetterFuture on June 4, 2024 at 11:15 am

The taxes earned from legalizing marijuana is too lucrative for governments to pass up…it is another type of sin taxes like on cigarettes and alcohol. Governments need to make money from businesses 💵💯🤷🏻‍♂️

  29. @itzamia on June 4, 2024 at 11:19 am

I got a dispensary right next to me. I place my order on my phone, get loyalty points and discounts on promoted brands an strands, and 5% off Sundays, in and out, chiefing away in under 10 minutes. You don’t have to wait for your homeboy to show up when he get’s around to it. It’s just like picking up a pack of cigarettes. Glad we’re in the future.

  30. @pkurz3288 on June 4, 2024 at 11:19 am

Now they need to come out with a test that says you high right now so you dont get DUI tickets or fired from work for having amounts in your system.
    Needs legalizing federally as well

  31. @Xt1000 on June 4, 2024 at 11:22 am

Dispensaries in Illinois. All the product is in a secure area similar to a pharmacy but in an area you can’t see. You either order online or through a menu at the dispensary. Make your order they go in the back and bag your order. They you pay for it at the register. Security checks your ID at the entrance.

  32. @gabrieljohnson1854 on June 4, 2024 at 11:22 am

The new generation of marijuana has been reported to be so strong, one can eat an entire pizza, wash it down with 2 liters of soda, and stay out of trouble by spending most of one’s day playing video games and watching funny cat videos on YouTube.

    Seriously potent stuff!!!

"Its a gateway drug…..gateway to my fridge".

  47. @JamesS.254 on June 4, 2024 at 11:34 am

Just like all things, there will be people who abuse and that will never change, but the people who have control over their own lives shouldn’t be prohibited and or punished from anything just because of the abuse of others. People Are, Can and will be responsible, and these people can Not be punished for the few with no self control.

  48. @lightclawshadowmarsch8167 on June 4, 2024 at 11:36 am

This is were the cartels along Mexico flood the state to set up pot shops like in California an Colorado. And use there illegal crossing the border to run them so can funnel the cash back to Mexico and other nations as a front to commit more crimes

  49. @jasonhaire8897 on June 4, 2024 at 11:36 am

Republican’s are already planning to prevent legalization in Ohio.
