First cannabis lounge set to come to San Diego County this fall

The first cannabis lounge in San Diego County plans to open its doors this fall. National City will soon have one of the few cannabis lounges in California.

“It took a lot of energy, a lot of moving parts because it’s a new type of business so there’s not a lot of models for us to follow or look to,” said Alex Ayon, the CEO of Sessions by the Bay.

He plans to open the cannabis consumption lounge in a 16,000 foot, two-story building where California College San Diego was previously located. They hoped to open this spring but he says he’s hopeful to be operating this November. Once completed, guests can buy and consume weed products on site.

“We will have a retail dispensary on the first floor. We’re actually going to have immersive exhibits on the first floor as well. The top floor a lounge with an outdoor patio area. Just a very dramatic, very cool scene,” he said.

Just as you can order beer at a brewery, the lounge will serve marijuana and even bring it to your table.

What do you do to prevent people from getting too high or having the wrong crowd posted up ?

Cannabis lounges and dispensaries are nothing more than magnets for loitering and crime. The city appears more interested in possible revenue generation than the welfare of its citizens–especially the children.

Why National City? That’s where all the hookers and pimps assault people in their cars, if they dare to go out at night anymore! Why not in a decent area? Maybe P.B. or even O.B. There’s party people there; but you don’t have to drive through hookers and pimps in the streets to get places. will they offer Uber services, so that people aren’t driving while impaired?

This is awesome. These usually have amazing restaurants and live comedy shows, etc. For people who don’t drink especially, this is a great option.

Somebody will be making lots of money. And the state will be happy to see more tax money coming in.
Unfortunately like alcohol we will see more deaths and car accidents. And lots more walking zombies!
