How To Transplant Cannabis Plants and Clones into *Organic* Living Soil

I am licensed to grow cannabis here in Canada and this is for documentary and educational purposes only.

In this video I’m going to show you how I transplant cannabis plants from veg or clone into almost organic living soil.

These are Black Sugar and Blackberry Moonrocks clones.

They will be planted into ProMix HP mycorrhizae, which has a non-organic wetting agent.

Gaia Green Power Bloom mixed with Gaia Green All Purpose – at a ratio of 1:1 in Veg.

And high-quality worm castings. If you are lucky, there will be live worms and worm cocoons.

Today I will be planting Black Sugar and Blackberry Moonrocks clones – along with a Future, with massive roots – I received from a friend.

Around one-eighth cup of Gaia Green 4-4-4 per gallon.

Around one-eighth cup of Gaia Green 2-8-4 per gallon.

And around three-quarters of a cup of worm castings per gallon of medium.

Mix it up very well.

I like to put a layer of non-amended ProMix above and below where most of the organic matter will be.

The roots of this Future are wild. Where the roots are about two-feet long, I am going to try to add soil while separating the roots between layers of medium, to help fill out the five gallon pot that she is going into.

I gently pack down the soil around the main stalk, while adding more soil, and repeating.

I should have probably planted this Black Sugar clone sooner (it’s been around 18 days since cutting), but oh well. Place her in amended soil and pack her in.

The Blackberry Moonrocks appear to root much slower. Same as before, and it is crucial to water when you transplant or you risk killing your plant.

I almost always water my plants in living soil with five percent of the volume of the container. These one gallon containers will get just under a cup of water, PH’ed to around 6.5. Whenever I feel the medium has dried down by almost 50 percent.

The Future is in a five gallon container, so it will receive around one litre of PH’ed water, as required. Generally, larger containers or smaller plants will need watering less often. And larger plants, or smaller containers will need water more often.

Nice presentation and explanation on all your vids. I’ll be using the HP promix with worm castings and Mr B’s greet trees 888 all purpose and 284 bloom. Too hard to get gaia green in the U.S. What do you ph to?

Keep up the good work growmie! Transplanting the one with 2 foot roots was pretty brave lol I bet once the "lazy roots" adjusts to the soil, it will take off though.
