SLF-100 for beneficial bacteria is way better then hydroguard. And you should look into amor si if you end up having res temp Flux. But good shit

The order is Silica (wait 20-60 minutes) then CalMag, then Micro then macro (I do Gro then Bloom with GH), any additional nutes like a humic acid or PK boosters in Flower and Hydroguard last.
    — The owner of the local hydro store told me that Hydroguard and H2O2 (Hydrogen Peroxide) cancel each other out so use one or the other but not both.

I pre-mix a concentrated batch with 1-gallon bottles with pumps on them with the mix scaled up to 1 part = 1 pump (which is consistently 25ml with the pumps I have) then dilute whatever portion of that you need to hit your target PPM then PH Down, saving most of the concentrate for later and using a small pump (magnetic aquarium wave-maker pumps) on an interval timer in all nute mixes to keep them from separating when just sitting there.
    — Otherwise what do you do when your PPM’s end up under your target if you’re mixing exactly as much as you need? Add more out of order? Or have to do a second batch…

So when the ppm too high you just add more water to level the ppm to the correct ppm?

Only thing I’d say is Monterey makes a product just like Hydroguard that costs way less. I use the same PH/Up/Down but use Jack’s Nutrients. 😁 Happy Growing!

After adding the silica you might want to allow the water to sit for about an hour. Sometimes, when you add another nutrient right after adding silica, you will see the water start to get cloudy, which is a chemical reaction that happens when the silica hasn’t properly diluted through the water. Just a little tip that I had to find out the hard way
