Green Flower veteran cultivator Derek Gilman demonstrates proper handling and trimming technique – what to clip and where – and how to know when you’re done

Im from New Zealand
I don’t know why but watching this video. I thought of Bob Ross. Lol. Thanks for the education.
wow, I thought I was too slow. Turns out, I’m a boutique trimmer!
I have tried this process in the past but the big problem i had is when the cut branches dry out for a few days the smallest leaves curl up too much and almost make it impossible to trim off ! I don’t know how you did it so easily in my experience it not only took a lot longer but way too much extra work. I ll never do it again , Peace !
Nobody disliked this video. Lol.
I’ve been commercial trimming for three years. I’ve tried so many methods but am trying to find the best way for me to maintain a good quality trim job while having to do large quantities….
Two years later…. Thank you. Great video !
My uncle gave me a clipping off of a plant, and I had no idea what I was supposed to do with it. I usually buy nuggets in bags, you see. So now I think I understand! Give it a careful clipping and then a serious smoking
I need to know if rolling the cannabis flower before trimming is a good way of trimming?
Raise your hand if you hate trimming.
When I trim I’m trying to produce a supermodel. I could trim a hour on a flower and still not be happy with it. It drives me nuts.
Your voice is so…calming. Getting Bob Ross vibes.
my guy the Bob Ross of cannabis.
Thank you for sharing your love for this flower!
Just started a trimming job, 12 hour days. 😳 Thank you for your video.
I swear I can smell all the single aromas of the parts of the bud!
Bro why he so slow
Awesome masterclass 🙌
Holy hell that was impossible to watch.
Where can I get a strain like this for a personal grow?
The Bob Ross of marijuana
“Cooler than the other side of the pillow “
To much time consuming for what it’s worth
The Bob Ross of weed
If Bob Ross had been given a pair of scissors instead of a paint brush…
So you dry it first then trim it ?
do you have a vid on wet trimming?
Sweet
hi.. how long do you cure them for
I feel sorry for everyone watching the video without smoking one 👌
Nice video! Trimming takes so long and I hand-trim everything too. When I’m harvesting, I take off the fan leaves right away, and I’ve trimmed the sugar leaves both before and after the drying / hanging. I’d say wet trimming is easier and better. And of course all that trim (after the fan leaves are gone) are great for making for bubble hash and edibles. 🙂 I did a harvest video lately but in this one, I trimmed only the fan leaves, then hung it all to dry. Maybe I was just exhausted because I had 3 plants to take down and I had my arm in a sling LOL.
6 am, your voice is so soothing i nearly fell back asleep, can’t though since im starting my new job trimming plants soon, thank you for the video
What is that tray made with.
You wanna keep those sugar leaves! That’s good shake for edibles
My god… the look on his face when he says, "commercial trimming." The eyebrows and everything… ***SLAP***
then produces Mangum opis. Little boutique boy! 😆😆😆
Hhmmmkaayyyyy
Is the trim useful for anything ?
So much of trimming is personal preference. One of the major benefits of homegrown is being able to tailor the grow to your preferences.
His speech is so gentle. It’s like the Mr. Rodgers of pot lol
40 year grower. Best hand trimmer for bugs is Detroit supercut 22 barber shear. Plus blades are changable. Steel blade or stainless. Super sharp and narrow too for hard to reach places.
You should go over if you have seeds because a lot of outdoor 80% of the time has seeds( Morley city growers) lots of newbies accidentally grow males
I found a few trees on my block gonna sell that shit 🥶
This guy is like a character off of the show Portlandia 😂 I really enjoy his calm and kind way of explaining cannabis, I think the first video I saw with him was the one one joints and thoroughly enjoyed. Always watch these videos all the way through and find my self rewatching favorite episodes!

I was wondering if you normally you use that humidity or was it because the fan leaves we not pre trimmed?
