I think that if the hypocrits that drink alcohol but vote against weed should have alcohol be illegal too. Alcohol is a much worse drug than weed.

    GOOGLE POT FARMER POEM $$
I got out my pipe and stuffed it with pot
You better believe, it held a whole lot.
I whipped out a lighter and thumbed up a flame
Then sucked down that smoke which comforts my brain.

I tried alcohol; and smoked cigarettes
Though, they did nothing, but give me regrets.
My mom had arthritis and couldn’t walk around
When I rolled her a joint, she danced on the ground.

I thought I was losing my lovemaking knack
But, after I smoked some, to me it came back.
Soon I decided prices were high
So I searched for some ground I wouldn’t have to buy.

I bargained for seeds from smokers all around
Then, got in my truck and drove out of town.
I walked through the woods where the wild birds nest
And found me the meadow I thought was the best.

I dug up the ground and sowed all my seeds
Then said a small prayer for strong, healthy weeds.
I watered at night with a five-gallon pail
The mosquitoes went hungry for I wore a veil.

Seven months went by; I thought I would die
Till the Halloween moon was high in the sky.
At night I went out, in my camouflage suit
And used a corn knife to chop down the loot.

I hung it up to dry where it couldn’t be found.
Then came back and got it, when it had turned brown.
I trimmed off the buds, and stuffed them in bags
Called all my friends and passed out free drags.

In less than a week my crop was gone
But I flew to St. Thomas with a love hungry blonde!!
THANK YOU FOR WHO YOU ARE IN YOUR HEART !

  20. Parker Nettle on July 5, 2022 at 12:20 pm

Legalize it fully! This is a step but it’s ridiculous to not have a god given plant legal in the greatest state in the nation!

  21. Marleyboy on July 5, 2022 at 12:21 pm

Government officials will never pass it unless they themselves are diagnosed with cancer, epilepsy or whatever the herb can resolve for them personally.

  31. Brett Mitchell on July 5, 2022 at 12:33 pm

Alcohol is in my opinion the most dangerous drug. Alcohol is a gateway drug way more than weed.

  32. flat logic in heaven on July 5, 2022 at 12:34 pm

Yes we most definitely need this I was just having a nervous breakdown not even 10 minutes ago I rolled one up started smoking and I’m back to normal I suffer from cptsd from a lot of crap that has happened to me through my whole life and this is the only thing that’s helped me none of these pharmaceuticals are meant for human consumption they’re all poison we need a real treatment and you all "the government" are holding us back from our god-given and constitutional rights for our pursuit of happiness and our pursuit of freedom as long as we do not injure another and as long as we don’t leave victims only murders rapists and robbers belong in jail not people who have issues with weed weed isn’t even an issue people are obviously using it to self-medicate and yes there are people that abuse it just like any other medication for Christ’s sake people abuse Tylenol

  33. KING FISH / PHILL on July 5, 2022 at 12:37 pm

  41. ppl who chew with their mouths open can go to hell on July 5, 2022 at 12:47 pm

Imagine if every state has legal medical and recreational except Texas 😭

  42. Michael Porter on July 5, 2022 at 12:48 pm

What does this mean for people who have charged for marijuana that now qualify for medical?

  43. Oblivion Light on July 5, 2022 at 12:49 pm

Texas is making a certain inner circle too much money off of drug offenses which includes shareholders of privately own prisons, bail bondsmen and parole officers. Marijuana is the ultimate tool of oppression that mostly target minorities, but still have no limitations of race. Don’t know why they are holding out? Dispensaries can exist with the ongoing thirst to bust a trap house. I mean, they can still make it illegal to sale weed from
home or on the street. Shit, Ill pay $60 for a quarter once vs $30 from someone who will shoot you and take your many and keep the weed or vice versa.

  44. Noori Rajab on July 5, 2022 at 12:50 pm

We are still going to light up no matter what they do lol 😂 Texas government works for the people not the other way around. 🚬 cigarettes should be illegal ☠️… not marijuana…

  45. ppl who chew with their mouths open can go to hell on July 5, 2022 at 12:51 pm

Wow, only veterans with PTSD? Do they not understand most people who have PTSD aren’t veterans?

  46. Dennis G on July 5, 2022 at 12:52 pm

Why would a state minimize the chemical composition of a medicine and make it weak ?

  50. Rich Lynd on July 5, 2022 at 12:56 pm

To me,…..’doctors’ are the ‘dealers’ of death! They do not hesitate to freely give out addicting narcotic trash, that kill people. I have dealt with fibromyalgia and severe back pain for years, and ‘dr’s’ kept on writing the scripts with a smile, until I said enough is enough!! I decided to endure TERRIBLE withdrawal symtoms that I would not wish on anyone! to get off those terrible drugs, Cannabis was a lifesaver for me, in that it almost instantly relieved my severe pain, with no bad side effects at all other than complete hapiness. So sad that a wonderful, natural, God given gift to mankind is treated with such contempt and hostility by those who are ignorant of it’s many, many benefits for mind and body. Such a peaceful beautiful plant. Make it free for anyone who chooses to benefit from it, for those who do not wish to, that’s okay, just let others be free to choose which MEDICINE they prefer to use for our bodies.
