KSAT’s Fares Sabawi joins GMSA@9 to discuss House Bill 1535 that would allow hundreds of thousands of Texans to join roughly 2 million residents in qualifying for the state’s medical marijuana program
It’s about time to legalize mariguna for all using alot of people use it come on Texas we are going to be in the middle of states and countries with legal canabis
I am a Veteran who suffers from fibromyalgia and two autoimmune disorders to include Hashimoto’s. I have chronic debilitating pain due to my conditions and often struggle just to take care of my basic daily needs. I deal with extreme fatigue and nausea every day. I am very disappointed that they took the pain off of the list. While I was living in Colorado I had a medical card and found cannabis to be the only treatment that gave me some dignity and a small portion of my life back. I hope that changes will come sooner than later because it is horrible to know there is a treatment out there that works for me yet I can get have access to it. If I wasn’t on a fixed income due to my disability level I would move back to CO. I love Texas so much and just wish they would get on board so I can enjoy this beautiful state instead of being confined to a bed for most of the day.
1% or 5% is dumb they don’t even know what they are talking about on top of that they aren’t doctors who says they can choose what percent our medicine should be?
Meanwhile the alcohol pours.🥃🍺🍸🥂🧉🍷☠️
It’s still inaccessible and it’s ridiculous that there’s maybe 2 or 3 places statewide. Never heard back from these people to even get on the program
Come Texas i thought we were big bader then everyone else everything is bigger in texas
Just legalize it !!
.5% is a joke.
1% THC isn’t even Mexican ditch weed! It’s just hemp.
Legalize it or don’t, we’re still going to smoke, you’re just causing more people to distrust and lie to police
FREE GOD’s SAFE PLANT ASAP TEXAS AMEN
People need the medicine and without restrictions as long as there are restrictions and it is still criminalized there will be a ton of people breaking the law trying to use this medicine to relieve their symptoms they should just Legalize It so people don’t have to worry about getting it from drug dealers and cartels/ criminals
People are still arrested and imprisoned for marijuana use in this state. It is a waste of resources and taxpayer money. Mentally challenged republicans have finally realized the war on drugs was a complete failure that only served to empower cartels (a lesson that should have been learned after alcohol prohibition) but they refuse to embrace the idea that legalization would allow for law enforcement to focus on actually improving society.
Everybody’s used to grow weed and say f*** them they can’t stop us all
Grow weed
No matter what they do we are still going to smoke lol …. Just legalize it ……
