Can I plant these directly in plant containers? Or, it has to be planted directly on the ground?

I bought the little sunflower pot from Dollarama today, but as I’m not a an expert, I felt a bit confused about how the compressed soil was supposed to be used. I was worried about over-watering it.. (no clear instructions on the pot). 🙈
    Thanks for the information.
