Is Marijuana Legalization Inevitable In The US?

Every ballot initiative involving the decriminalization or legalization of marijuana passed in the 2020 election. The Democratic-controlled House also passed the MORE Act in early December, which would legalize marijuana at the federal level and implement sweeping regulations surrounding the drug. These developments reveal something important about the shift in the marijuana debate: Marijuana may be one of the truly bipartisan issues in the U.S. right now.

  2. ABADDJ on May 15, 2022 at 6:30 pm

Why would we call it marijuana if that’s the name they use to make it illegal they have to trick the farmers so that they will vote to make it illegal and cannabis will never be legal unless we can grow it our selves without persecution

  3. Bobby Wayne Weeks on May 15, 2022 at 6:32 pm

I like Ronald Reagan but he was totally wrong about marijuana it should be legalized and should be legalized today for recreational and for medical use all adults should be able to get the same amount of THC in marijuana as they getting 80 proof of alcohol in a bar or a liquor store which is equivalent of 20% THC is equivalent of 80 proof of alcohol
    same amount no different
    Accept
Marijuana helps the human body and alcohol destroys the human body and mind
I’m a Republican and I believe they should legalize marijuana for recreational use for adults only.
And I also believe that she use it for medical because people that’s going through chemo because they have cancer or seizures post-traumatic stress
Or people like me that believe that it should be legalized for recreational use .
    Because
    I have seizures post-traumatic stress
and I costly have back pain because the bullet hit my spine and I have
    ADHD

I’m glad they finally admitted that it’s never been a law against marijuana, it’s a law against the people that use it, at first it was immigrants from the south, then in the 60s & 70s it was the people that hated Politicians.

  10. uncle alzbbq on May 15, 2022 at 6:36 pm

okay its 2022. Everyone else has rights and groups, I think its about time to get with the times and legalize it at the federal level .. tax it like beer or cigarettes and let people live their lives already..

ND will be hard to go recreational marijuana because medical is more beneficial to the state and resting illegal recreational is more financial to ND that recreational would ever be. all votes in ND for recreational loss just by 3 yes to 9 no for to pass recreational marijuana and the state decision to allow it to be voted or not to be voted the following year in a year and half in advance.

  17. David Reyes on May 15, 2022 at 6:44 pm

  18. Deborah Flowers on May 15, 2022 at 6:44 pm

It is all about control and money. They want to control who can grow it, and who makes money on it. Do another study so the big companies make the money. The poor guy on the street don’t have a chance.

  19. C Shir on May 15, 2022 at 6:46 pm

Not until we get this crack loving president out of office. Biden has put more people away than any other. The fact that pot is seen as worse than alcohol is a joke of all jokes.

Consent to be governed equals oath of a public servant

The United States is a corporation 28 U.S.C. Judicial & Judiciary Procedure § 3002(15)(A) & Consent to be governed is established by the sworn Oath of a public servant as required by 5 C.F.R. § 2635.101(b), C.F.R. Part 3101, 5 C.F.R. § 735 & according to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure Rule 2. There is one form of Action – the Civil Action, this is confirmed in 28 U.S.C. § 1333 & 28 U.S.C. § 1331 Historical Notes, which can only be commenced by a covered employee 2 U.S.C. The Congress § 1408 & therefore can only be actionable against another covered employee. No one can give consent of another to be governed as "waivers of fundamental Rights must be knowing, intentional, & voluntary acts, done with sufficient awareness of the relevant circumstances & likely consequences. U.S. v. Brady, 397 U.S. 742, 748 (1970); U.S v O’Dell, 160 F. 2d 304 (6th Cir. 1947)."

Rodriques v. Ray Donavan (US Department of Labor) 769 F. 2d 13341348 (1985.) “All codes, rules, & regulation are for government authorities only, not human/Creators in accordance with G-d’s laws. All codes, rules, & regulations are unconstitutional & lacking due process…”

  30. Lisa McDonald on May 15, 2022 at 7:03 pm

Not true. People were using cannabis before Mx imigrants came over. They were using it recreationalyl & medically 1950s. There were places in cities like NY & Chicago to go socialize, chill & smoke.

  31. Joseph Neumyer on May 15, 2022 at 7:04 pm

Constitutionally its legal in any form

  32. Jennifer Kincaid on May 15, 2022 at 7:04 pm

I’m a republican most people i know are also and i am completely for the legalization of marijuana and I’m pretty confident that my republican friends are also.

  33. vir on May 15, 2022 at 7:05 pm

The legalization of marijuana should be regulated at federal level to protect children and teens. The news at the TV was about a teen smokes marijuana and passed out drooling. All the dispensaries around the country should be monitoring and check the content. How much they sell? The dispensary that sells the product to the kids, should be immediately close. A girl purchased a lollipop couldn’t close the mouth and dull until the effect pass away. Any adult providing kids with marijuana should go to jail. Human being should always have rules and regulations. Protect the people.

  34. Jimmy O’Connor on May 15, 2022 at 7:07 pm

Special thanks to Donald Trump for exposing the lies this government has spewed to us since 1775. Marijuana has only been used my man for 6000 years as a medicine and the same goes for Psilocybin mushrooms. American gluttony and abuse bastardize many things such as these 2 items. What does alcohol cure ? Oh wait you can tax that easy and you can’t tax a weed that anyone can grow. All about he money and big pharma

  35. Jonathan Vinzant on May 15, 2022 at 7:09 pm

And I say marijuana is a gateway drug that’s bulshit alcohol is you get somebody drunk and then son-of-a-b**** will smoke or take anything

  36. Surfs Up on May 15, 2022 at 7:11 pm

Think I’ll step outside for a little recreational break right now.

  37. Stock Pistol on May 15, 2022 at 7:12 pm

The problem with legalisation of weed is that they can only give you a low dosage at a time so after a year or 2 they start going to Street cannabis that one of the reasons why the legal cannabis industry is slowly dying

  38. Gary Pavlick on May 15, 2022 at 7:13 pm

Has anyone remembered the word. PROHABITION? does anyone know that there’s a food shortage? Beyond repair! Does anyone know that food can’t be grown outside anymore. But, it certainly can be grown inside. There’s a SUCKER BORN every minute. Fortunately for the children. We’ll manage to feed them. And, that will be from those stoners who are so high, they forgot about prohabition law’s. Which still exist. Thank God. Because, the feds will be showing up. And, no doubt it’ll be the 2 thirds one third law .2 thirds food . At a very reasonable price. Lol. This is hilarious. But, at least we can syful the food shortage. After all we can’t eat weed. Or, feed it to the kids.

  39. Brooklyn Bred on May 15, 2022 at 7:13 pm

Imagine being a person of color and having a record and been to prison for selling or smoking weed. And now Becky and Chad are able to do it. This country is so racist

  40. Juilio Mato on May 15, 2022 at 7:15 pm

Well duah it’s inevitable! They just had to prohabish the hell outta it to make us fight for it like alcohol days. They know it’s a miracle power plant!

  42. SP on May 15, 2022 at 7:18 pm

I dont see any state banning alcohol. The authorities trying to convince us in this day and age that Alcohol is a lesser evil compared to Marijuana. Seriously?

  43. William on May 15, 2022 at 7:18 pm
