Look what happened when places like California, Washington State, Oregon legalized marijuana. Rampant homelessness in their cities. Marijuana can bring predisposed mental illness such as schizophrenia to the surface. When it wears off, it can induce agitation/irritation. It can inhibit short term memory. It’s also linked to lowering IQ. The lab grown marijuana today has 20%+ more THC than marijuana did in the 70s. Hemp and CBD is okay. Keep marijuana illegal unless it’s for patients and prescribed by medical doctors.

At 1:32 she says she uses marijuana for "a good night’s sleep" and that it’s "great for insomnia". That’s the feeling you get but it’s not true. Marijuana prevents you from reaching the 4th REM cycle in deep sleep. It prevents you from dreaming. This also can cascade into other mental health issues. There’s also a study that correlates marijuana use with violence.

  4. Ron M on September 30, 2022 at 3:43 am

No, the government will tax it and make money to distribute among themselves, and send to foreign countries. Making the average citizen poorer.

You’re policing anyway, the real reason is that TX makes it’s revenue by criminalizing marijuana. It’d hurt their pockets if they decriminalize it.

  13. Kasson on September 30, 2022 at 3:49 am

Weed makes you smarter and citrus CBD is not as cool. So, yes we must control the population with substance trauma and confusion.

  22. Michael Morrison on September 30, 2022 at 4:03 am

I never enjoyed it that much personally (I’d rather end my workday with a cigar and a cold beer). However, I really have to wonder why this plant is even illegal.
If people want to smoke the funny grass and act like a fool in their off-time, then it doesn’t harm me.

I’d much rather have a few marijuana shops in the area and the occasional whiff of skunky greens opposed to having a dozen or so shady-as-heck people regularly coming and going at the house across the street from me.

  23. Anthony A on September 30, 2022 at 4:05 am

  29. Ultra on September 30, 2022 at 4:10 am

I think it should be fully legal but I don’t care enough to vote for Beto – ever.

  30. aide castaneda on September 30, 2022 at 4:14 am

So weed should be let for the medical professionals but abortion is for the government to decide and not the doctors 🥼???

  31. Tom Carstarphen on September 30, 2022 at 4:26 am

Absolutely no legalizing marijuana in the state of Texas 18 wheelers drivers accident have increased if the police does not smell in an alcohol on them they get away scot-free because they not being tested for drugs so the legalize this marijuana going to make things worse I don’t think they have a wedge detecting someone high on marijuana when they have an accident

  32. Lil_xXTokyoXx on September 30, 2022 at 4:28 am
