My personal recipe for Flower—Harvest (about 3 weeks before harvest): each part in this recipe is 1 TABLESPOON and this is per 1 Gallon of medium @Craft Grower/Soil this one is more targeted at you!

1 parts 2-8-4 Gaia Power Bloom
1 parts Kelp Meal (dry, NOT liquid)
.5 part Epsom salt (unscented)
1 part Diatomaceous Earth ( Can swing pH, adjust as needed, the silica content for branches and bug defense potential is worth adjusting pH)

My Veg Mix is
1 parts 4-4-4 Gaia Power Bloom
2 parts Kelp Meal (dry, NOT liquid) (can add more but I advise to wait till late veg or late flower)
.5 part Epsom salt (unscented)
1 part Diatomaceous Earth ( Can swing pH, adjust as needed, the silica content for branches and bug defense potential is worth adjusting pH)

With both, u should be watering with a TEA with the same ingredients but with a TABLE spoon of BLACKSTRAP Molasses every 2 weeks. if you want your soil living and growing mycelium mist the topsoil every day to inhibit growth from your mix and tea…

That’s it… try it out if you like. Let me know how it works for you! It works amazingly for me

What kind of pocket knife is that on your shelf ? With the gold and brown wooden handle. My father used to have one just like it , he passed a long while back and I lost it somehow a few years back 🙁 I forgot the name of it .

Steroids for plants isn’t kelp, kelp is a seaweed extract containing cytokinin, cytokinin is a plant growth regulator, , found in coconut milk and more. Many more , it is in almost all plants aswel , if not al. Steroids are brassinolide , also called brassino steroids, kelp is totally natty, all good, s is triacontanol, chitosan, and stuf like that

Kelp is definitely not steroids. Not even to the average grower. It is more like a probiotic. Help people understand what supplements actually do. That’s why they watch these videos.

Hey man I picked up some crab meal, kelp meal and worm castings to make a tea. I’m going to be making about 5 gallons. How much of each should I be using. Love the content

So I read that kelp meal mixed in with the soil takes up to 4 months to start releasing the nutrients

    Hi brother,
Im using canna terra pro to start my grow with no added amendments from seed.
I know its quite hot but i tried before and the plants dealt with it ok.
Because the soil is already charged i dont add anything for the first 6 weeks of veg from seed as it seems to be charged enough to take me up until then.
I then only add dry amendments just before i switch into flower.
Do you think this will be ok to take me into flower and how often would you top dress etc.
Im finalising my herbs into 7gallon pots aswell.
Im thinking of top dressing for first week of flower to take me 4 weeks and then one more top dressing at week 4 to week 8, which i water in with a compost tea in 5 gallon bucket consisting of 2 tbsp molasses and 1/2 tbsp epsom salts. I usually give a compost tea every other watering and i will start giving teas just before switching to flower.

This is what i top dress….

    50ml bat guano 1.10.1
    50ml Ecothrive ( beetle poo ) 2.3.2
5ml palm tree ash 0.30.0 ( tiny dose because it can raise ph in soil )
    Worm castings 100ml

But im thinking of adding kelp meal instead of palm tree ash because the potassium levels are way to high and dont want to risk knocking ph out.

Please let me know what you think of this and could i use kelp meal in veg too or would you just use it before going into flower and in flower ?
    Any feedback is much appreciated,
Cheers brother and by the way, your ladies are looking lovely and healthy 😀👍🏼🌿🧑‍🌾

Too bad Gia has not expanded into the US. It’s expensive all hell to get it here due to the crazy shipping prices. That 10kg bad would cost 140 here in the US

I didn’t know diatomaceous earth could provide silica. Will try it out

  16. Jonny Banana on October 7, 2022 at 6:50 pm

mix in a little of pgpr (plant growth promoting rhizobacteria) and mycorrhizal fungi, as well as humidic acid, and kelp extract to help the roots absorb more of the nutrients and protect roots. They are good, and NOT PGR

do you have a good auto recipe?

  18. Oreo on October 7, 2022 at 6:56 pm

diatomaceous earth is not the same as liquid silica. Plant cant absorb it as readily
