    I have a river

Bromine is another alternative to chlorine. Hot tubs really use floating bromine. If you need any help with water or electric or want to bounce it off the wall like shit I’ll stick so…….but really I’m recently retired after 25 years working and managing processes. I’m certified TCEQ and directed or managed a team under my licenses and helped certify numerous people in treatment and potable resources ground and surface water-wastewater.

To the guy who’s narrating this video I don’t know if you know this and I have nothing wrong with you saying water point workers are heroes that’s all cool and stuff but look it up you know don’t just say I’m wrong but look it up and find out for yourself did you know that our tap water is making men gay and messing with female estrogen levels it makes men more feminine naturally because of chemicals they put in our water in the United States of America in 2022

  4. 1Bigredox on October 11, 2022 at 7:02 pm

i really hope that after an interminable amount of whining about california having no water that you aren’t dumping 4 gallons of water down your drain for every 1 gallon you get pure. its still drinkable, and good for many other things.

I came here to learn how to water my weed plants and got up on water treatment plants

  9. Glockasaurus Wrex on October 11, 2022 at 7:09 pm

there are guidelines for watering, especially living organic soil…5-10% by volume/ daily. I keep it on the dry side, closer to 4%…so my 15 gallon pots get about.6 gallons/day in flower. Works amazing n keeps the bugs down by not over watering. I switched from R/O cos im in Socal too n can’t waste all that water. switch to Boogey Blue filtered tap water n that works fine, 3’rd run with that. Auto drip system from Drip Depot has my tent poppin!

    I like using self-wicking 5-gallon buckets myself.

Vitamin C. Stops chlorine in its tracks.

  14. Patrick Roepke on October 11, 2022 at 7:15 pm

Also most municipal treatment facilities practice burnout which in a distribution network that tie together can use different treatments so when they do tie or need to clean
their systems from the inner workings out they will treat then fill all storage tanks and open the mains up and when they merg it goes NUTS for about a week with foul odors and heavy chlorine heavy enough it literally burns out all of the lines. Now that unfortunately will not burn the asbestos in those old cast iron pipes and yes I did not studder but, Asbestos! Fun fact: it’s common to find watermelon, cantaloupe, and yep cannabis in the dry beds at the wastewater treatment plants. The fruit looked great but I only went to those places during training but the older guys, they said it was great ? Just make sure you peel them well!

how to water – you just know lol

  17. Jacob Miller on October 11, 2022 at 7:16 pm

I swear look it up and it’s not just Google saying it it’s universities from around the world that have been testing the water they put these chemicals that are in our water supply in just normal water going down a river and a batch of frogs went into the river and it literally changed the sex of the frogs this is coming from a study from Harvard Yale and other famous universities in our country and about a bunch of universities and other countries but I don’t know much about other country universities but I do know it’s not just American universities coming up with these numbers

    Well water is amazing

  19. Jeremy Koerperich on October 11, 2022 at 7:19 pm

I love the way you described the language of the plants it was very spot on

  20. Gary D on October 11, 2022 at 7:19 pm

I used to live in the mountains of Colorado and had a well. I didn’t grow pot then but all other plants did amazing. I’m back in Denver and Denver has good water. It has Chloramine but I’ve had my run off tested for microbial counts several times and the difference between RO and straight tap is negligible and as the water testing lab said, they can’t tell the difference. I’ve tested grows with using the same clones and tap vs RO, the tap plants were always better probably because of the minerals. So I guess I’m lucky and don’t have to invest in an RO system that is not only expensive up front but require the filters to be changed at least every 6 moths.

  21. Cameron Basford on October 11, 2022 at 7:19 pm

Is RODI water ok for cannabis? Or should I only use RO water?

  22. Sprechende Mülltonne on October 11, 2022 at 7:19 pm

Is drinking tap water safe in the US?

  23. Mayank Kanwar on October 11, 2022 at 7:20 pm

Pot is still banned in India but I watch his YouTube channel and I love it. We in India use RO system for drinking and cooking. The waste water of these RO systems can be used for cleaning cloths or cars or house or even for
Gardening. Water conversation is the way forward but like this channel said there are “no rules”. What works no idea 🤷‍♂️. The utilisation of waste water from these RO system is in my kitchen Garden. And it works 😇.
Keep spreading the knowledge. All the best.

  24. mikeyrov on October 11, 2022 at 7:25 pm

wait i dont get it, why would you remove magnesium, it is a mineral that increases growth in plants shouldnt there be more of it

  26. bob hill on October 11, 2022 at 7:28 pm

it occurred to me that useing my aqurium water for plants, it’s already treated so is dechlorinated, and has been in the tank for a few weeks

  27. Pablo C. on October 11, 2022 at 7:28 pm

Awesome videos man. I’m just blown away. As a first time grower I’m totally hooked on the whole process and learned soo much in one season. Thanks soo much for your videos. Peace ✌️

  28. David Minter on October 11, 2022 at 7:28 pm

Don’t over complicate things. It’s a plant. It grows in nature. Rain water is best. I mean nature seems to be doing ok with it for ohhhh 2 billion years.

  29. logan677 on October 11, 2022 at 7:29 pm

I have a big plant saucer under my 5 gallon pots and usually water from the bottom. I can pour about 3 quarts before it reaches the brim and it allows the pot to absorb it slowly. It has worked well for different strains but all using a premium soil.

  30. B White on October 11, 2022 at 7:31 pm

Cloramine doesn’t evaporate and can only be fillted out. So, definitely use a filter regardless if in LA in my opinion.

  31. Braydon Weldon on October 11, 2022 at 7:31 pm

Yeah the pump it full of chlorine

  32. scott webber on October 11, 2022 at 7:34 pm

Ok so if u have well water same concept ? I never heard about what u actually want in the water. Is it to start as close to zero n add all or can u actually take advantage of the existing nutes ?

  33. trichome boss on October 11, 2022 at 7:36 pm

Calis water isn’t better then pnw that bud should have had way more trichomes than that

  42. Mark B on October 11, 2022 at 7:49 pm

Dumb question but can you skip the filtering steps if you use bottled water ?

  43. cheiftain on October 11, 2022 at 7:53 pm

Rain helps health uptake and its a closed cycle you just recycle it . Go rain

I really like ur technique. U have a very palettable voice & cadence. I HATE listening to people that speak in a way that NOBODY speaks to another person like but on YouTube they sound ridiculous. Very nice channel and i watch all ur videos 😊✌

  46. Cannabis Global Network on October 11, 2022 at 7:56 pm

I use my pond water because it collet’s rain has fish and frogs and ducks and chickens in and around it. And I add fish fertilizer to my water and banana peels to add potassium and egg shells to add calcium. I add all purpose plant food in the begining and bloom booster around flowering time.

  47. razz P on October 11, 2022 at 7:57 pm

Very intersting, checked my cities water report, they use the following in the water treatment:

    • Sodium Hypochlorite (12%) ( according to your video this is chlorine.)
    • Sodium Silicate

I will be growing outdoors, would letting a 5 gallon bucket sit out to let the chlorine evaporate be save enough to use in living soil? Don’t see anything about floride in the report. Is sodium silicate a concern?

  49. Duran Cribbs on October 11, 2022 at 7:57 pm

What are your thoughts about using alkaline water for your grow? Most grows I see ph their water around 5.8-6.8, what would it hurt to ph the compost tea and plant water at 9.5?
