Why I stopped using pvc to make the spray manifold in aeroponic systems

The whole reason aeroponics works the best for growing is because of the control we get. But when using pvc pipe to make the spray manifolds in a system the expansion of the plastic followed by compression adds a delay in finishing that cycle. Plus it’s going down to the cut-off level the mister gives you at a slower rate, again this adds to the overall amount of liquid being expelled at a much larger diameter.

does your system have a solenoid valve? is it something like pump, accumulator tank, solenoid valve then your nozzles? I’m currently making one and this is what I’m going to use and I’m pretty sure this problem wouldn’t be there, but it wouldn’t bother me either, the mist is the most important factor. I will have 0.5 micron nozzles running say 80 psi per spray. I’m just spraying one nozzle at a time each with a solenoid valve to get the 80 psi because my system is only 130 psi, thats the plan anyhow
