What To Do About "Tip Burn" During Flower
What To Do About "Tip Burn" During Flower
Our PPM pen was not working properly, telling us to feed an overdose of nutrients and “shocking” the plant. We purchased a new pen, and got that fixed. We then turn back on our new Kind LED and talk about the importance of protective eyewear in a grow room/environment.

First timer here & my babies tips of her leaves are turning yellow 😥 She is in flowering & we had to switch the light schedule a little early, so fingers crossed 🤞🏼 my girl survives 🙏 Thanks for taking the time to help us newbies 😂
What’s the right PPM to use
What can I do to help my burning leaves
I left the lamp to close the whole top of my plant burnt the flowers and all still growing just looks nasty what can I do
🔥
Look at all that leg? If you were going to take all that lower growth off, why did you veg it that long only to remove all that under growth? U can literally take your canopee and bring it down 2ft and reduce the leg by 60%. These plants were over vegged by 2-3 weeks. Literally have more leg then canopee.
Have an auto in week 2 of flower. All fan leaf tips brown and crisping. First grow. Any hope. Flushed with water and sledgehammer.
Need to flush hard
Do you think the plant will recover from the over feeding it’s hard to get that stuff back out once it’s in even with a big old flush I recon the bud will b tainted in the end some how what’s your opinion on this
Growing my first plant and is at seedling rn. Everything is good except yellowing on the very tips have occured a couple days ago. And also one of the 4 leaves are deformed and shrunken from the rest of them idk whats up there. And last thing the 2 little leaves that are there since the beginning turned yellow and brown. Im assuming theres too much nitrogen so today i just flushed with straight water.
I know that not everyone is loaded. However. You could get 7 meters. Calibrate them all on one day. Then use one a day. End of the week clean and repeat cycle. Only have to calibrate once a week but you get 7 shots.
What kind of light was this bro
should I wait until soy is completely dry to flush?
Who has the money to spend on buffer every time? That’s insane!
Zero good reasons to remove those leaves!
My leaves are all changing from the burn I have flushed and they are still developing new fresh leaves, but as soon as they settle they turn like autumn leaves brown, curly, twisted and crispy. The runoff is extremely brown like a rust colour, I had researched a copper deficiency which makes them look this way, but how can I save it during the flowering phase so close to harvest. Do I continue to flush with water and give adequate sunlight. Can someone please help this is my first successful plant and I don’t want to lose it
I have simlair problem i have question the going dead leave isnt the plant takes all the nut out then you tik it and fall off i dont have any bugg pro dooh i leave the leave untill its dead if you pull it it goes to a other leave nice video ✌
One of my plants is doing that leaf tip drop but is healthy color and not over watered does not change when I water it any help?
Hey, same appened here 🙁
I’m reading that it’s good to flush until the runoff’s ppm matches the water’s ppm but I’m kind of sceptical. I’m around 600 now and I think the plant need it for some time (but other leaves top are getting burned). What do you think it’s best?
If you have enough humates 10-15 % ( compost ) in your soil you don’t need to worry about the PH to start with. Besides It’s really the plant itself that dictates the PH in the rhizophere through plant secretions. Organics 101. IC Mag has excellent info on this subject. I’ve grown for years without a PH pen/meter…. Read!!! … This is just LED light burn…
I have taken off excess nitrogen by spraying the leafs with water. I held the plant sideways and with a spray bottle spray water under the leaf. It’s a lot of work. But it was a serious overdose. My opinion:: I leave the burned leafs on the plant for awhile…days…. the leaf will continue to absorb any excess N and the new leafs wont suffer so much. Inverse square law says that if you have 1000 lumens at One Foot, then you have 250 watts at 2 feet. So the further the light is from the plant radically changes the light it can absorb. plants don’t "see" light like we do.
Im using tap water
Noobs
Nice channel brother. I’ll be checking out more!
What’s the point of starting with trellis and not putting another in I’ve never seen this method
I thought this were 6 plants 😂
I use my pen only to confirm the color of the ph strips are correct. Check ph twice feed once.
Going through something similar. Only feeding compost tea to soil and the microbes went through the ammendments faster than I thought possible 4 months now and 1-2 weeks left of flower. I think my grow actually is light burn. The bottom is still green. Raising the light a little for starters
why take off those leaves? my theory and what i’ve heard and has worked, is keeping them, as those leaves are keeping the extra nutes there…if you remove those leaves they’re gonna find another place to deposit the extra nutes
Thanks so much, again, for actually showing us what needs to be done. You’re awesome! ❤️❤️❤️
Im having this problem after adding supplementary lighting of a differant spectrum.
“ Aye my cotton “ 😂
I got burned tips on some outdoor auto I did not take care of them very well and dit not amend them at all (pepole keep telling me I overfed them but I never fed them)
when growing number one rule of thumb is have at least two of everything! 2 ppm readers, ph pens, lights extra nutes, extra fan
