If I cross an f2 of 1 strain and an f2 of a different strain will the seeds be considered f3 or f1

  4. Torched nail on June 12, 2022 at 7:46 am

Fried chicken?! I haven’t heard that one before! It’s a better world that it exists though. 🧐

  5. Father Figure on June 12, 2022 at 7:50 am

Started out with two males and went off on several different females. Each female had seeds saved in her own individual jar. Now my run is currently F1… 5 seeds germinated a few months ago. Of those 5 one is male and the rest (4) female took clones for reaching back if needed. Flowering the F1 parents out now for F2 seed stock. Wish I still had Original (P) parent stock. Good video.

  6. Weedismyreligion on June 12, 2022 at 7:52 am

Humhum wish it was THAT simple.
there’s sooo much more to know like inbreeding /outbreeding …

  7. weneedgreen420 on June 12, 2022 at 7:52 am

If you turn a female to male does that pollen then make a new strain if mixed with a totally different strain?

  8. Somebody on June 12, 2022 at 7:54 am

The thing that I don’t get is when your plant is done flowering and you see all the different types of plants and you pick one how are you gonna make seeds if it’s too late for the plant to make seeds

  9. Christopher Jaymes on June 12, 2022 at 7:55 am

What are the S1s, and Bx1s??

  10. Smokeclowd on June 12, 2022 at 7:56 am

    Fried chicken terps

  11. Juan Ojeda on June 12, 2022 at 7:56 am

Why u say you have to make them f2 because you have f1s only ? You can just selft the plant to grow the same seeds as the mother then they will be fem f1 then you can go from there and have fun

  12. RUDERALIS on June 12, 2022 at 7:58 am

what happens if i keep only females and they produce some seeds anyway without males around? those seeds will work ?

  13. SLOCS on June 12, 2022 at 7:58 am

Great info!!! Took others a 30+ mins video to get to the point. Thank you !!!

  14. Juan Morales on June 12, 2022 at 7:58 am

Lol it’s about that complex terpenes that you do not typically find so fried chicken could be the next best thing

  19. Sage McFarlaine on June 12, 2022 at 8:07 am

You could use a technique I like to call cucking. I’ll be using it myself this year actually, I’m working with a berry white male I got from a friend, and a couple feminised evil grimaces, along with 3 zour watermelons. The females resulting from the berry white X zour watermelon will be crossed with dream berry males. From this cross I will save the females and cuck the males. The daughters of the berry white male and 2 evil grimace will also be crossed with frosty berry males. The daughters of the frosty berrys will be saved, the sons will be cucked. I’ll only be saving the sons, paternal grandsons, paternal great grandsons, etc… Of the berry white male. By the time the Zour Watermelon X Berry White and dream berry are crossed and the Evil Grimace X Berry White and Frosty Berry are crossed the offspring would all be cousins by now. Simultaneously to these crossings the males, the sons of the Berry White will be crossed with the Dream Berry and Frosty Berry females. The resulting females and males will be saved. Continue this process until the populations that went down the line of cucked males and the Berry White Y line are at 3rd cousin’s separation, then recross between 3rd cousins. This method doesn’t rely on inbreeding, it relies on the Berry White’s traits to stabilize the strain.

I dont know but I cant take direction in a applied manner I take it in indirectly. U say, parents say dont do I do opposite. Always have always will do. If parents still kicking rocks. I’ll do same shit.

  21. The Buddy Professor on June 12, 2022 at 8:09 am

Good learning. After the first 2 parents and you were successful in breeding. Now you have F1s are the given a name at that point or how exactly do seeds get their names??? If you can explain that it, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

I need some fried chicken smelling genetics in my life. Good explanation. Thank you. You earned my subscription.

  35. john denver on June 12, 2022 at 8:18 am

The f2 gen is where you will find the most unique and diverse phenotypes. This is where many breeders pick their mothers from their hybrids bc you will find a more shuffled deck of genes in the f2

  36. Jay Warshavsky on June 12, 2022 at 8:18 am

this is perfect video so to the point! subscribed! please more explaining all the differences, i keep seeing these f1 s1 what are those? much appreciated!

More about the pros and cons of the IBL.

  38. arguello grows on June 12, 2022 at 8:22 am

That’s wrong IBLs are Crossed with Da same parents cuz I got IBLs rn which is Dream Berry (mother) x Dream Berry (male) so its considered F2s but before F2 it was bred Dream Berry x BlackBerry from a diff breeder until givin to me nd grew 2 same parents nd got IBLs seeds to stable the genetics which are now F2s

  39. DanStoney on June 12, 2022 at 8:23 am

  42. Cory Harrell on June 12, 2022 at 8:29 am

Yeah you might want to do more research on this because it’s wrong!!

  43. Sage McFarlaine on June 12, 2022 at 8:30 am

Cannabis is a diploid just like us, they need genetic diversity. The only thing you can’t inbreed is a Y chromosome so ultimately you only need to save the male descendant of 1 male if you want to go that route. Hence the cucking method. You will never get inbreeding depression using this method, and you can use line breeding after say a 3rd cousin cross and do some stabilization that way really quickly if you want that way it doesn’t lead to major defects, yield and vigor loss, lower potency of cannabinoids and terps, etc… But you can still bring out recessive genes.
