yo! I went to buy the trucker hat you’re wearing and didn’t see it! Is it sold out at the moment? I wanted to wear it for a music video I’m shooting soon.

Is it normal for a seed to harvest plant to take a year? I mean it’ll be close to 10 months?!?!

  5. @josephmoore3543 on July 13, 2024 at 12:59 pm

Worm castings, I also put worms I my pots.

  6. @Danimallistick on July 13, 2024 at 1:00 pm

With out question living soil has enhanced the quality of my grows by a vary noticeable amount. I started by reamending used soil. I now make my own compost from materials collected around my property, have a worm farm going in my garage to generate fresh castings. Since I live on the Oregon coast so its easy for me to gather free kelp seaweed. I have been able to completely ween my grow off all bottled nutrients and save a ton of money.

It’s organic all the way for me. I’m new with only 10 successful harvests under my belt but I prefer better taste than more weight.

  9. @julianrombley9966 on July 13, 2024 at 1:03 pm

Good day to all. Question. im using soil amendments n i like to still give my plants some Cal-mag, Molasses, Recharge etc what ppm level should i look to give? Also, like 2 weeks before harvest should i stop giving them everything n just give plain water or can i continue giving them CalMag n Molasses? Thank in advance

“Organic” is such a conflicted term now. Organic – so many variables. Living soil is by traditional definition is “organic” but bro there’s nothing “organic” about growing in a pot. That’s a construct micro environment. By contrast I don’t think there is really anything such as “non-organic” or “synthetic” grow just because a plant receives kelated salt nutrients because the symbiotic microbial biology grows profusely even in hydroponic conditions. People are growing more “organically” then they realize.
I have been trying to grow with a living medium enriched with organically derived nutrients making a “super soil” that mostly provides everything for the entire growth cycle and having great results but I still don’t really call it an organic grow.
Even still if I see a suddenly phosphorus deficiency mid flower (some strains are nutrient whores) I’ll add liquid fertilizer to the growing medium in smounts only enough to benefit the plant but not at expense of the microbial network or enough to limit exudation into the roots by the plant

    Can u flower a 5×5 with the fc-6500???

  16. @freddythefrog on July 13, 2024 at 1:09 pm

Thanks for the heaps of great info Matt! Organic/living soil is the type grower I’m becoming. Only 1 1/2 years growing under my belt- Since my conversion from synthetic to living soil/organic amendments, I’ve noticed a lot less testing of ph and PPM. I was already making compost 365 days a year.(see coffee habit) I chop and drop everything I grow to the soil surface of my pots. Add a little clam and crab shells(crab an lobster) to the mulch. Can’t wait to see how many times I can use the same pots.(w/stumps… lol) Sure I’ll be top dressing with more compost and worms… ✌🏼🐸

I really appreciate your videos bro. I’m new to growing and am planning on starting with living soil. Is this recommended for first time growers over say coco or dwc?

  19. @Darko1324 on July 13, 2024 at 1:15 pm

99% Organic.. the pH up and down is just too convenient.. otherwise just bio365 soil worm castings from Gaia green, Gaia green 444 and 284. Recharge, supercharged with fish shit and orca once a week. Like a first second and third shift of microbes Workin for the plant. Recharge can be made even better.. love that stuff. Oh and mykoz when transplanting always. Gypsum and Epsom salts when I need extra cal or mag.

  20. @lazyeyebakers428 on July 13, 2024 at 1:16 pm

Organics all the way bro Gaia Green 🔥🌱

The secrets are in the soil… thanks growmie!

  22. @FollowJesusChristNotMan on July 13, 2024 at 1:20 pm

If yall want cheap organic soil, make your own. Start a compost pile with leaves let it sit for a few months. Collect some weeds from your area and put them in a bucket with water. Once your compost is done mix it with the dirt from your backyard like 1 part compost 3 part dirt. Then feed your plant with your weed fertilizer. Organic and cheap.

bull lmao the plants can not tell the difference and neither can you lmao it’s all in your head….sorry mate but facts.
it’s all about bioavailability, by the time the plants gets it, it is the same thing no matter how it gets there.
done right the only difference is time taken and we all know what wins hands down there lol.

only organic living soil with no til (back to Eden method). No pots. straight in the ground for the fungal network.
